For me:
Errol Spence Jr.
I was supporting Kell Brook and played down Spence's chances. Hadn't really seen a lot of him prior. He surprised me though and put up a great showing in Brook's backyard. I'm eager to see him against the other top names at 147.
Chris Eubank Jr.
Put on three very good performances against a better standard of opposition in 2017. Has entered the World Boxing Super Series to try and establish himself against the other top fighters in the Super Middleweight division.
Lewis Ritson
Put on a dominating display to stop Robbie Barrett and win the British Lightweight title. That is a stacked division domestically and I'm looking forward to some cracking matchups in the near future as he attempts to win the Lonsdale belt outright.
Dude, seriously? I thought this was a boxing forum. It should be a fun place for us boxing enthusiasts discussing boxing related- topics and other light stuffs.
Listen, man. It's cool that you're a Jesus freak but I don't need that sh1t in my colorful life, a'ight? I respect your belief, brah though I know for a fact it's just a bunch of B.S.
If you don't want to hear what I'm saying that's cool. You can easily ignore my profile. But like I said, it's not too late and I'm not going to just stop spreading my beliefs because there's some misguided souls out there. That's not what good people do. I would be a hypocrite if I were to move on to heaven without trying to help others get there as well. And I'm no saint but just as strongly as you believe religion is bs, I know for a FACT it isn't. I wouldn't be alive if it was. You just haven't identified or experienced it for yourself so you can't understand. Here's to hoping that before your life ends you find the way. I'll leave you at that.
God Bless :)
A lot of people don't like feeling like they're in check but there's a reason you've been given free will with a sense of righteousness. If you think that you're no better than an animal and your life has no more meaning than that then I can't help but feel sorry for you.
And when artifacts from those 'fairy tales' have been uncovered, they're no longer just fairy tales.

Having a hard time differentiating a warning and a threat. One of so many reasons I don't believe in fairy tales.

Don't fk with your after life. You still have time.

Tony Bellew but? I still want David Haye to beat him in their rematch. As I am a long time supporter of David Haye, and he is probably the last active fighter who, I have a emotional rapport with! (I was gutted when Tony Bellew beat him in their dramatic first fight!)..
Spence I'm getting interested in his career. I'm not a big fan yet but if he gets into a tough fight and show some heart yeah he win me over.
I'm a fan of Danny Jacobs. Beating cancer and then a great fight with Golovkin made me a fan. He seems like a nice guy and a family man so he's at the top of my list.

Canelo brought me back to Boxing few years ago...
Conor/Floyd really drew me back, since then (in 2017), I've jumped on:
Chris Eubank Jr -- because of listening to his father talking about Conor/Floyd
Mikey Garcia ----- from watching Elie/EsNews at Robert Garcia's gym
Abner Mares ----- from watching him train/spar with Jose Aldo (MMA) at Robert Garcia's, on EsNews
All the names you guys have listed I've been a fan of before 2017.
there's this new Japanese kid.. He's a bad ass, only like 7 fights lemme look up his name.
Canelo lost,
Ward won on low blows....and....
How are you 'godless' but have faith?
You're confused
"Faith" isn't always about your imaginary pal, pal. I don't fu** with religious zealots.
As you say. If he can stop Miguel Vasquez next month then that will be some statement. Vazquez seems to have been round for ages but he's still only 30. I'd also like to see the Ricky Burns fight. I honestly think JT would brutalize Burns.
Vasquez is tricky. Very hard guy to look good against. Would defo be a statement stopping the tough awkward Mexican.
As for Taylor vs Burns. Not sure I'd want to see that fight as I like Burns and agree with you Taylor would beat on him badly. To Burns credit he's as tough as nails, always gets up and knows how to survive but Taylor is a big super lightweight and Burns is way past his best. He was in his prime at super featherweight about 7 or 8 years ago. The ref would step in or the towel would be thrown in to stop the punishment mid to late rounds.
Cool. Some didn't rate Taylor until he schooled and beat up Davies. Was crazy how many fans believed Davies was going to walk through JT. Probably because Davies is black, stocky, is a noted puncher and talks mad **** while Taylor if you didn't watch him fight looks like a bit of a weed. Heard they struggle to find JT sparring partners as he bashes them up regularly. Breaking the ribs of middleweight n ****. Watched an interview where David Haye says Josh Taylor is a serious weapon and as tough as nails and he's seen him do ridiculous things in sparring. He doesn't look like your typical bland UK talent. He got some slick in him and he's real nasty with those body shots.
