Do you realize the difference in someone as small as Manny Pacquiao beating someone as big as Margarito, compared to someone as big as Shane Mosley beating someone closer to his own size as Margarito? Manny Pacquiao as someone who started his career at flyweight, beating Antonio Margarito is more impressive than Shane Mosley, who started his career at lightweight beating Antonio Margarito. Has Shane Mosley ever beaten an opponent who is over 4 or more weight divisions above his starting weight division? That's exactly what Pacman did by beating Margarito. he had no business fighting in that weight because no other boxer in history moved up that much and succeeded as much as Pacquiao did. The fact that he was at such a disadvantage and still overcame the odds, is a testament to his greatness and qualities. That doesn't mean he wasn't at a HUUUUUGE disadvantage. Manny Pacquiao also defeated Miguel Cotto far more convincingly than Canelo Alvarez did. Pacman dropped cotto multiples times and stopped him. That was a younger and a fresher Cotto that Pacman destroyed. By your argument, Canelo Alvarez should've beaten Cotto as convincingly as Pacman defeated Margarito since Canelo had the luxury of fighting a man (Miguel Cotto) who was already destroyed at the hands of Manny Pacquiao. So why couldn't Canelo Alvarez demolish Cotto as or more convincingly compared to Pacquiao?
