WBA, IBO, IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is being lined up for a future bout by Joseph Parker, who holds the WBO title, after he defeated mandatory challenger Hughie Fury on Saturday. Joshua gets in the ring with Kubrat Pulev in late October in his first fight since beating Wladimir Klitchsko in their stunning Wembley Stadium bout earlier this year. Click Here To Read More]
Now that Wlad is retired, there is no noteworthy heavyweight around that is as big physically as AJ. There is a young prospect whos a real giant but a bit chubby, Darmani Rock but its questionable that he reaches the Top. Hes still verry young though. Brazile and Martin are already bombed away by Josh so right now Parker is propably one of the biggest possible opponents of Wilder, he weighs almost the same even though he should lose some pounds IMO. Or that russian guy Ustinov but hes not a serious tread for Josh and the fight would be over quickly. Josh has proved that he has no problem fighting men his size, maybe he would have more problems against a smaller, faster light-feeted opponent. But even these are hard to find right now.
Daniel Dubois.
Is it just me or does Parker look significantly smaller than AJ? I don't know how much weight he would be giving away but he looks like a smaller human being. It is one of them instances when one heavyweight does look another weight class to the other. But to be fair I even feel that way about AJ and Wilder.

no one who s in line to fight aj would risk his biggest payday in his lifetime and fight really contenders. so did pulev in his last two fights and so will do parker. so he won t fight whyte...
Make the Dillian Whyte fight that's a genuine 50/50 contest in most fans eyes where at times they will just stand and tee off. Winner is placed well and moves on to a bigger fight with a strap. AJ is not a good style for Parker just Barry wanting the payday he has a much better style match up against the flawed Wilder.

Parker can punch a bit and AJ will just try and smash him to bits so he will have somewhat of a punchers chance. Conversely, AJ could just walk right through him and get rid of him quite quickly.
Parker should chase Bellew or Haye or Whyte. He can earn some cash over here and he has loads of options of smaller heavies and I think he'd have a chance to beat all of them. Haye as smallish and older with injuries so the physicality of Parker would probably get him but if he had anything left he'd definitely hit Parker with some enormous punches. Parker's head is on a stick a little bit but I'd imagine Parker has one of those cracking Samoan chins.
