Did Floyd even land a single flush power shot?
For real. I think the one right hand where he hit Pacs' chest was his best punch in that fight? LOL
Get away from me jabs don't count.
OK ...
Was responding to your quotes .... fight 2 vs fight 1 quotes
as for the fight, Castillo dominated the fight. Had a slow start (which made it a closer score) relative to how he picked it up as the fight went on but Castillo did not lose the first 5 rounds of the fight. Floyd was not dominating the champ ,Castillo. The rounds were close and there was not much action early on.
The 2nd half of the fight, when the action picked up, it was all Castillo.
It was a while back .... but there was someone who had analyzed the fight including the early rounds and he made some interesting observations.
.
A dominant performance that starts after 5 rounds, with no knocks downs, without the opponent being hurt at all, with no chance of fight being stopped is almost an impossibility, you know that right?
Floyd was also competitive throughout the fight. We're going have to agree to disagree. I can buy that you think Castillo won, but to say that Castillo dominated Floyd is a stretch.
This shows either your bias or that you are misinformed. It does not matter if Castillo was the champ. Being the champion doesn't mean shlt other than you get to keep your belts in the event of a draw. It's time posters stop with this "take the title from the champ" bullshlt when it has never meant that the champ had any advantage other than keeping the belt in the event of a draw.
Also, you said someone made some interesting observations about the fight. That goes both ways. There is a video on youtube, PacRoach style, where a user goes over the fight and finds that the punchstats were way off. Way off. I don't give a fvck about punchstats, but I'm just saying.
Here it is:
It was a close fight. Some had Floyd winning, some had Castillo, some had a draw. Look up the media scores and you will see that.
Will check video later but the analysis of the video that I saw was a pretty good one.
Oh really now. You got eyes, but apparently you can't see.
Let's see a video montage of Pac's best punches. What was that? Like 3 or 4 the entire fight?

FLUSH "PITTY PAT JAB"

So they were pitty pat flush shots?
I even said in my post that it didn't mean that Floyd won no rounds but that video had what I said and for the most part, Floyd was just throwing pitty pat punches while his fans were calling it "domination"
BUT
Those same fans have been calling GGGs punches pitty pat punches and that you cannot win rounds with pitty pat punches!
Well in Vegas, Floyd can.
My response was to the gentleman who claimed Floyd was dominated by Castillo. That did not happen.
The fight was close enough for him to think that. When I saw it live I had it a draw. I had Floyd winning the first five and either the 9th or 10th. As I have watched it since I have it either 6-6 or 7-5 Castillo.
Every time I watch it I conclude that on a 10 must system over 12 rounds it was a draw but that Castillo was the better fighter that night. Floyd gave him a rematch and beat him easy.

Those quotes that you posted were of Castillo vs Floyd 2 where the scorecards were actually closer than the first fight of theirs.
Castillo vs Floyd 1,
Castillo thought he won. Go check out his reaction after they announced the judges scores.:
"Oh, no doubt, after 12 rounds I thought I had done more than enough, certainly more than he did," a rueful Castillo said. "But they didn't give me the decision."

and imagine, this video is supposed to be Floyd's best highlight moments of the whole fight!!! :lol1:
If you look carefully, some were blocked, partially blocked, missed, can't even see Floyd connecting, hits Manny on the gloves, some shoulders, pitty pat punches or arm punches, Manny moving away from the punch, a pushed punch ..... a few were just replayed several times because there wasn't enough highlight moments! :lol1:
Nobody is going to say that Floyd didn't connect at all during the whole fight. Nothing memorable nor damaging, ..... Best one hit Manny on the shoulder. Some rounds he won but many Floyd fans have been saying, how could GGG win rounds based on pitty pat punching.
Manny's defense and counters was very underrated in this fight. Look carefully and you would see that quite a few of Floyd's punches were blocked, partially blocked and countered.
.
The one narrative that is lost in that fight is Pacquiao's supernatural defense. I did not even think or imagine he could mount that type of defense against Mayweather who is well known for his accurate punches and counter punches.
I guess it's one of the reason why the fight became totally boring to the casual fans. Virtually no one is getting hit in that fight. Both of them have turned into this super elusive, unbelievable reflex based defensive fighters that overwhelmed both of their offensive ability to the point that it was rendered useless.
Also his counter punching in that fight. Floyd was legit super super cautious in this fight, relative to his other fights. He was hesitant to even throw jabs lol. Pac was ready for the counters, and countered on top of a lot of his shots. It's a shame RJJ and Max had to commentate for that fight, and completely mislead the viewers of what was actually going on.
I can never forgive RJJ for the ****ery he displayed that night. Showed his absolute true colors that night.
What the **** is this bull****? Floyd schooled Pac so hard he and Arum had to make up a BS shoulder injury to save face. Floyd won easily, get over it.
So Castillo dominated Floyd? How do you quantify that?
I saw a tough battle but How can you say Castillo dominated?
Here are some quotes from Castillo:
"If you look at the scorecards, the fight was actually very close, but after 10 rounds I got discouraged in just chasing him around the ring and I kinda gave up, to be honest," Castillo said. "I didn't realize the fight was actually that close with the judges."
Is Castillo surprised by the heights reached by his former rival?
"No, because I know how good he was and could be," Castillo said, before adding, "I didn't fight in the era of Rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali, or anything like that, but he's certainly the best boxer that I faced."

Floyd had to rob Castillo in broad daylight :pat::pat:

I saw the thread that was "full of them" and seriously now.......Punches that were parried, blocked, and slipped by Pacquiao is the so called master class that you guys are claiming? The only decent ones shots where the upper cuts, and the straight right hand that Manny tried to block buy landed on the chest, but other than that, those so called "Hard" right hands barely touched Manny, and was mostly blocked. You guys are reaching :lol1::lol1:
the OP posted a gift that landed a "Hard right hand" On Pacquiao's forehead while Pacquiao's gloves was already on it to block
so u think pac man won the fight? that wasn't floyds best offensive fight, he won on foot placement alone if u watch the fight. pac did good tho.... hes no scrub. what is the big deal?
