He basically employed the same gameplan that canelo did against GGG, and the fights actually where kind of similair. Surely if you think canelos approach won him the fight against GGG.
Then you cant deny lara deserved the win against canelo amirite doe?

Cant have it both ways :boxing: lara was too slick for that boy, canelo was a walking punching bag plodding forward with inneffective aggression.
if you think they fought the same gameplan you just stupid. Canelo fought a ton in the pocket and literally sat on the ropes to take breathers inviting GGG to come in and trade. Lara flat out ran stayed out of range and refused to engage. Was doubled up in power punches landed. Canelo outlanded the big bad monster GGG in power punches for the fight. Outlanded him power punches in 7 of the 12 rounds. Outlanded him in uppercuts, body shots and power shots. You don't do that if you running. Lara wasn't in the pocket, Canelo was most of the night it's just GGG couldn't hit him.
Show me Lara doing anything like this
Canelo, like lara. Spent many moments in the fight just moving and not doing anything. There was literally times when he would throw a combo ,then spend the next 2 mins not doing anything. Same as lara did, problem is canelo fans trashed lara for this. But suck canelos **** for the same thing.

What do you have against Canelo, amigo? Lara ran all night long. He was backpedaling, unwilling to engage. I remember thinking to myself, "Is this guy playing around in the ring?".
Now, back to Canelo Vs GGG...that was a brilliant performance by Canelo. He stayed in the pocket most of the times and was able to land some really good shots on his boogeyman.
To answer your question...Lara LOST. He wasn't boxing. FYI, I wasn't a Canelo fan before. I was actually rooting for GGG but I'm a Canelo fan now.
I'm a Lara fan and yes Lara beat Canelo.
Lara fights like he’s in the amateurs still... jab, straight, run... jab, straight, run...
He had the entire crowd booing as well as the entire bar I watched it at. Lara ran the entire night, refusing to engage, refusing to give fans their money’s worth... a prime example how all the talent in the world won’t get you recognition if you refuse to FIGHT. He gave the word runner a new meaning that nigh and did not deserve to be given a win. This is not the amateurs, this is not the Olympics.... it’s professional fighting and if you fight like a b!tch, you’ll be treated like one...
Thank god Lara isn’t on major networks. He’s the epitome of what’s wrong with boxing.
Not a Canelo fan at all, but Canelo barely ran compared to Lara.

Lara too slick for these plodders.
Lara is very slick, I thought the fight was quite close, but I'm a black and white person, Canelo won and that's all there is to it really. In a rematch? Idk tbh.
