LOL 51% scored it to Marquez then 45% Scored it to Pacquiao then 4% scored it a draw. Stop bul****ting about "Widely given" on anyone since the polls says other wise stupid.
Why are people so angry and quick to name call? Which polls are you referring to? Boxingscene's very own poll had it 64 Marquez to 38 paquiao. HBO's very own poll had it Marquez 46% paquiao 12% draw 42%.
I call that WIDE especially considering Marquez lost. LOL. EXPOSED
If you and your pals mean 90% of people then count me out of that group. The same 90% of people that exclusively hold Floyd Mayweather responsible for the Pacman fight not happening until 2015.
Anyhow, 97G was humiliated for being outboxed, outlanded, and made to look amateur with his wild misses every. single. round. That's why he lost. I don't need 89% other people to validate what happened.
97G exposed against Brook and Jacobs (arguably lost to Danny) and Canelo finished the old Kazakh.
It's okay. He lost. No biggy. Get 'em next time slugger!
What about all those wild misses Canelo had? And all those G caught on the gloves? Did that expose your beloved Canelo? You know that GGG outlanded Canelo.
Canelo beat GGG, straight up. People can believe the government about 9/11 if they want. History will reflect warmly on Canelo's performance. A good mix of defense, counter-punching, and tenacity beats slap-jabbers who miss 70% of their punches every day.
Canelo 1, 97G 0When you called him 97G you just branded yourself as a GGG hater and disqualified yourself as a fair, neutral accurate scorer of his fights. You joined in with bias group who think if GGG didn't knock his opponent out then he lost the fight. 90% of people who saw the fight thought GGG won because they don't hate him and they believe what their eyes told them. GGG won and 9/11 doesn't have a fuking thing to do with it.
They like to use punch stats when it suits their agenda. Like pacquiao Marquez 3, its widely to be considered a win for Marquez. Yet, pacquiao threw more punches and pressed the action. And I agree, it was a clear and almost dominant win for Marquez, but punch stats favor PAC. I had Canelo as the winner. He boxed better, came out on top of the inside fighting, harder crisper shots. Close fight I have no problem with the draw.
Respect. People think you win all the rounds if you just come forward and Jab... no you have to throw some power shots aswell. I can see Canelo winning even 7 rounds where he landed slightly more significant shots where he just edged the round out for me. People follow other peoples opinions too much. Rewatch it for yourself
I thought Canelo put up a better fight than Jacobs by a small amount. GGG clearly won both fights in my opinion but Canelo landed some bombs and Jacobs did not.
Are you talking about Compubox? If yes, you don't have good legs to stand on. The human error is retarded with Compubox.
Watch the fights yourself and do an exact count. It'll take hours, but if you want a real punch stat, you got to do it yourself.
Im not baseing anything on that but ppl like to do
No way in hell did Jacobs do better than Canelo
What the hell are you talking about --- Jacobs should have won 116-112. Dude fought the entire fight not 4 rounds and got on his bike and pot-shotted the rest.
Starting to get the feeling you really don't know what you're looking at and just post one sentence comments or threads to support a specific cultural demographic of fighters.
You never get in depth with any real knowledge in any post I've seen.
since ppl like to use stats ,how was Jacobs performance Better when he landed 56 punches less then GGG ,an Canelo landed 49 less according to stats

Stats/compubox has BEEN a joke. It's about as credible as someone on here scoring fight. Two people just stating what they thought landed and what didn't. They've gotten it badly wrong many times. There's so many examples I could give.
For example the 3rd Pacquiao-Marquez fight where basically everyone had JMM winning. Compubox had Pac landing like 50 more shots. It was clear he didn't.
Roman Gonzalez supposedly landed 150 more punches than Rungvisai in the first fight. I didn't see those punches but who ever was keeping stats saw them. Remember, Adalaide Byrd also saw the fight 118-110 for Canelo.
