@ 11:38 total punch connects 181 GGG / 82 Canelo
We all know this is the hurt business. We also know when a certain fighter who is suppose to be effective in the center of the ring ends up retreating to the ropes to find shelter for most of the rounds there's a reason behind it. Simply put it, he got hurt.
A mexican fighter, who fought un-Mexican like is because, when that fighter tasted pain. He had no choice but to back up and find solace in the ropes eventhough his corner keeps on telling him to stay in the center. He had no choice, but to retreat. That's a nature of someone that got hurt, and this video shows why.
GGGs stiff jabs, and relentless onslaught connected more than Canelo can return back.
This was an easy win for GGG. Punch connects supports him as the true winner by a landslide.

Effective aggression? LOL!
GGG punches missed per round:
1. = 28
2. = 32
3. = 33
4. = 30
5. = 28
6. = 29
7. = 30
8. = 25.
9. = 34
10. = 18
11. = 20
12. = 35
Total punches missed = 342
Talk about being a Windmill?
Obviously Canelo was robbed. Teddy Atlas saw Pacman winning against Horn yet Pacman did far less scoring against Horn than Canelo did against GGG. Which makes one wonder why is Atlas suddenly so inconsistent in his criteria.
They say GGG was coming forward, but forward while missing constantly and being countered isn't controlling the fight. It is getting hit while coming forward.
They also said Canelo ran? They call it dancing when SRL, MA, SP, and Lomachenko do it but it's running when Canelo does it? Furthermore, Canelo stood right I front of GGG whenever he chose to and exchanged punches. During those moments GGG got the worse of it as well getting hit with uppercuts, hooks to the body and head.
He never hurt Canelo.e Canelo hurt him twice to the body and wobbled him to the head. He made GGG look clumsy, slow ad amateurish.
I carefully counted punches:
Golovkin punches landed = 211 and missed 342.
Which means that Canelo who landed 257, connected 46 more punches.
This video is actually garbage. The biggest punch landed in the entire fight was not included, that tells you all you need to know about how biased this video is. (Incl. the guy who made it.)
LOL not distinguishing between power punches and jabs is a problem, and not distinguishing between clean punches and barely contacting punches hurts this case too. Just look at round 1, Canelo lands stiffer jabs that pop GGG head, GGG lands grazing shots. Just looking at the stats at face value you would think its closer, but its not.
Not to mention they cut out some Canelo punches.
What Canelo punches were cut out?
Canelo did not land the better jabs, stop being stupid.

I watched that video,
Jesus its so biased.
It missed some nice uppercuts on canelos part
Not saying canelo won
GGGs activity is really what caused ppl to think he got it
It could be inaccurate but it still shows who dominated. That's the bottomline . The true puncher was lthe true middle weight. There's a reason why Canelo backed the fuvk up. Its called pain and fear. Those ggg stiff jabs and relentless combos were too much for Canelo, hence he can only fight in spurts. Workrate was obviously a factor. gggs workrate kept Canelo cowering in the corner. Thats all there is to it. GGG connected more and obviously dished out the real pain in the hurt biz.

'but but but golovkin exposed doe!'
The only one that got exposed here. Is the mexican style boxing now includes running towards the ropes for the majority of the rounds is an essential part of the Mexican way of fighting hehe
triple ggg lost mate
deal with it
Nope. Even his corner wanted him to go to the center of the ring where he is suppose to be effective, but instead he had to live and die in the ropes. That's called retreating. Getting hurt by a true middle weight does that to you. Those GGG punches hurt Canelo and canelo had no choice but to run and fight in spurts since he can't match GGG in fire power. Post fight scrutiny shows who put the hurt in the hurt business.
Having a few moments is not what counts. It's how much landed and who commanded the center of the ring and dictated the pace. GGG all day.
Deal with it. :boxing:
'but but but golovkin exposed doe!'
Only exposed in this fight is that obvious truth GGG won.
A rematch is only made when their is no definite conclusion made. This fight shows who commanded the ring and dished out the hurt. That's all that matters.

Rds 4,10,11 were very close rds that i think could go either way
2,3,12 were Nelo rds
5,6,7,8,9 GGGs
1st round neither did much but Nelo landed a body shot
Nelo was fighting in sprouts when he had opportunity while GGG stayed most consisted, it was a close fight but i scored for GGG 7-5
Nelo did better than i expected, i thought he was gona get stopped late, but he fought great in the 12
It was a great fight idk why one side has to be right and the other wrong
Good post! Golovkin won 7 rounds to 5 imo
Round 1, 2,3-Canelo
Roudn 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 - Golovkin
Round 11, 12 - Canelo
3 is even it can go either way in my book.
4,5,6,7,8,9,10 defintely GGG
11th is definitely GGG. His rally in the end of the round was enough to give him that round.

Roudn 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 - Golovkin
Round 11, 12 - Canelo
Some very close rounds for sure though.
I gave GGG round 1. All 3 judges disagreed with me though.
I also gave Canelo 5, 6, and 10.
I have yet to see someone make a case for 7 definitive rounds for either fighter.
How can you give rounds to Canelo when he spits his load in the first minute of the round and backs into the ropes for the rest of the 2 minutes...you can see in rounds 7-12, in the end of each of the rounds hes not even close to GGG, already heading for the corner
In round 10, Canelo was about to go down from exhaustion. His hands were down, and his legs were like noodles. I really thought GGG would have finished him in that round.
You're late to the party Spoon...

Oh I didn't know someone posted it already. Well, hope to those who haven't seen it can enjoy it. It shows how lopsided this fight is actually.
