Is there any fighters that you can think of that have a better chin than him or just as good? It seems any type of punch you throw at him it doesn't affect him at all & he just keeps coming at you. I guarantee even Canelo was likely scared at points in the fight when any punch he threw wouldn't affect him at all or much.
In Floyd's defense Corley landed HUGE shots on him and he recovered quick.
I know. I'm just saying he did get hurt and rocked by Corley and Mosley and he did recover quickly in both fights. Floyd's defense and skills were superb that he rarely if ever took punches to the chin.
Just saying if we are comparing just chins then he wouldn't compare to guys like David Tua, Oliver McCall, Golovkin and Kamegai. Those dudes take way more shots on the chin. I've never seen any of them hurt or rocked.
Floyd? Floyd has a good chin but I wouldn't compare it. I saw Floyd get hurt by Chop Chop Corley and Mosley. And Floyd's skill set didn't allow him to get hit much, so I wouldn't compare him.
One fighter that comes to mind, though his skill set is low and subpar is Yoshihiro Kamegai.
The guy takes way too many punches, but he takes them and runs back in his opponents face constantly to try and fight toe to toe.
The dude has a steel jaw.

At middleweight? I don't anybody currently has or ever has. One might be able to make a justifiable case for Marvin Hagler's punch resistance being in the same league as Golovkin's. However, I don't think anybody has had better punch resistance at 160 pounds than Gennady Golovkin. It's not just his raw punch resistance, but his extreme sturdiness and balance. He has one of the best balance I've ever seen from any boxer. He is rarely ever off balanced or out of position.

Evander had a great chin. George Chuvalo maybe all time. Tex Cobb. Ali had sum good whiskers. Big George during his comeback. It almost hard to believe Ali dropped him so bad with that one punch. Foreman said the hardest punch he ever got hit with was the punch that Ali never threw when he was going down. It's true. Ali coulda clocked him several more times, but he didn't bother. Stud.
Yea Garcia has a great chin. Tim Bradley and Shane Mosley too.
Tim Bradley? He got hurt and rocked by Provodnikov and Jessie Vargas. Mayweather I've seen hurt and rocked by Corley and Mosley.
I also vote for David Tua in the chin department
Oliver McCall too, I like James Toney as well.
He has most likely the best chin in boxing today but former fighters you'd have to go with someone like Oliver McCall. It was IMPOSSIBLE to hurt him.
Just speaking in terms of chins : Yoshihiro Kamegai

Another fighter with a hell of a chin was Oscar De La Hoya. Besides his boxing talent he was gifted with a granite chin. Even prime Manny couldn't KO that drained son of a *****.
He has a pretty good chin. I was more impressed with his body and stamina though. Canelo really went after his body early and gave up on it. GGG just kept coming till the end.
GGG may not be the most athletic, but you can tell he really trains his ass off. He has elite stamina and recuperation. Almost Floyd like.
Current fighters or are you including former fighters? Former fighters I'd have to say Floyd and Toney. Especially Toney to come all the way from MW to HW and never get stopped.
Yeah, Toney & Floyd have really good ones. Also I'd say Danny Garcia. Matthysse threw some huge bombs at him & he wasn't even close to getting knocked down. I remember he had his mouthpiece knocked out of his mouth & it flew out of the ring & Garcia wasn't really even hurt by it much.
