So according to some posters right now, not only is GGG a one dimensional boxer in terms of boxing abilities / skills (which was already known and accepted by those posters), but GGG is also now a light and weak puncher as well.
So:
1) Golovkin lacks punching power
2) Golovkin is a one dimensional boxer with boxing skills / abilities below c level.
So here is the million dollar question:
How an Earth did Golovkin go 12 rounds in an extremely competitive and close fight against the supposed, much more skilled boxer in Canelo Alvarez, whilst fighting to a draw and without getting beaten lopsidedly?
Surely, if Canelo Alvarez was that much more skilled than Golovkin and Golovkin was such a weak puncher, then Canelo Alvarez should've effortlessly demolished Golovkin inside the distance in an even more convincing and lopsided fashion and have won by a bigger margin, shouldn't he?
Or is there something else that I'm missing?
So at least you agree that Golovkin is a powerful puncher. So if the was only a powerful puncher, then when his power was neutralized, why wasn't he beaten by those opponents that neutralized his power by a bigger margin?
He was beaten but the powers that be caused a turn of events....it's on video.
gg's footwork is sheet, even worse than canelo's. It really stunned me, I didnt expect that.
Gg was missing AALLL NIIIGHT LOOONG. I havent watched a figther missing so much since long long ago.
If there is anything that this fight has made clear, is that gg hasnt fought elite oposition not even a sinlge time before yesterday. Tomato after tomato... for 35 years.
offcourse hes been fighting **** opposition. Past ptime Cotto ko one of his best wins in geale
i was hugely disappointed by GGG in this fight
all he did was walk forwards, i didnt see anything special, other than a bigger man trying to walk down the smaller man
Compubox gave GGG points for tapping Canelo with his jab LOL
Look at first round how many GGG is said to have landed, at one point he was measuring his distance wit the jab but not really hitting Canelo more touching him
Come on if GGG jab was so great, Canelo's face would be beat up
Lara put more of a beat down on Canelo
Logic fails these people.
If ggg landed as much as compubox says he did, where are the results? Not a SINGLE punch that hurt Canelo.
e
Even the commentary that was hired by GBP had GGG winning, they really need to move big fights away from Vegas and the NSAC, everything there revolves around money
Yeah, i know everywhere has it's issues at times but Vegas has way too many external influences i believe.
Talk about revisionist history. I have been reading for years from BBB sides own team and his 12 fans on here that Canelo won't go five and BBB side would cut off the ring and KO him easily.

Yep finally when he stepped up in competition he beat it. Canelo was beaten last fight.
I'm not even a GGG fan. Dont really like his style. Ut I saw him pressure and pressure Canelo and landing on him.
This sport is discusting sometimes.
LMAO! Lil g was too easy to hit. What saved him was nelo getting tired not doing anything for 2 minutes of some rounds that gave it to lil g. lil g better stay away from Jabocs & Jermall if he wants to keep fooling some people that he is great. He sux, all he got is a punch period.

A lot of Canelos punches landed on the gloves, were rolled off or flat out missed GGG
GGG has always had underrated defence and underrated boxing skills in general, hes a good defensive fighter even though hes a pressure fighter.

Lol, there can't be better oposition in lower divisions?
Your comment is stupid as F.
I've better things to do than arguing with an idiot. See you.

I asked you a question. I didn't claim any such thing.
Your comment is stupid as F.
Which comment and why?
I've better things to do than arguing with an idiot. See you.
Good luck with your endeavors. Calling someone an idiot online without backing it up only makes yourself look more like an idiot.
All of that is speculation. I can speculate that if GGG ate a magic pill, he would've knocked Canelo Alvarez out as well. Objectively, we go by what has happened and not what ifs.
Do you even realize your contradiction? First you claim that Cotto and Canelo Alvarez aren't too busy fighting midgets but then you claim they are too busy fighting opponents from a lower weight division. So aren't boxers from a lower weight division closer to being midgets than boxers from heavier weight divisions? Or are you claiming the boxers in a heavier weight divisions are midgets and the boxers from the lower weight divisions aren't midgets?
Also, are you implying that beating opponents from a lower weight division is more impressive than beating opponents from a heavier weight divisions?

I repeat, workrate. Canelo's workrate was sheet yesterday. He didnt come to the fight to work, he did the very minimum, he allowed gg to get out of the hook by sheer workrate, and he shouldnt have done that.

Lol, cotto broke geale as fast as gg. And canelo didnt waste his time fighting midgets (well, actually khan is a midget, then, except khan). They were too busy fighting real oposition in lower divisions. Gg was too busy fighting tomatos to move his weight and fight something worthy.

So why haven't Cotto and Canelo cleaned out the middleweight division then? Talk is cheap and actions are rich. I can claim that my little baby son can clean out this and that division, but it's all talk.

eIt's pretty damning when 1 of the 2 people that scored it for Canelo is his own promoter.

Which better boxers? bjs? rofl. It's not my fault, neither gg's fault, that MW is full of trash. Canelo, and even cotto, would clean the whole division without breaking a sweat, dude.

Again, if Golovkin was that bad in terms of boxing abilities, then why couldn't Canelo Alvarez absolutely murder, demolish amd decapacitate Golovkin's body out of the ring? Are you reading that right? Golovkin is obviously that horrible according to you. Yet, the fight looked fairly competitive. Now why was that the case?
I repeat, workrate. Canelo's workrate was sheet yesterday. He didnt come to the fight to work, he did the very minimum, he allowed gg to get out of the hook by sheer workrate, and he shouldnt have done that.
**** no, give the man his props. He fought a great fight with one of the p4p best fighters in the world. Why cant yall just give someone his props. Golovkin fought like a machine. Canelo has a granite chin, no one has ever been able to knock him down. And i thought the draw was a good decision
Gg has power, if someone says otherwise he should look for another sport.
But the only reason, THE ONE AND ONLY, why gg was competitive yesterday was by sheer workrate. He's footwork, talent and ring IQ, went through the window, they were exposed as F.
So what if he was competitive? If he was that bad as a boxer, it shouldn't matter. He still shouldn't be in any competitive fights against any top level opponent like Canelo Alvarez. Top level opponents like Canelo Alvarez should beat someone as horrible as Golovkin are more easily, like how Manny Pacquiao demolished Ricky Hatton in 2 rounds.
So according to you, Golovkin was boxing from the exact day he was born? So he was a boxer as a newborn baby?
So if Golovkin was that bad, then why haven't all those other better boxers fought against him and beat him?
Which better boxers? bjs? rofl. It's not my fault, neither gg's fault, that MW is full of trash. Canelo, and even cotto, would clean the whole division without breaking a sweat, dude.
Ah!, I forgot, I'd have sworn that it was provodnikov the one fighting the las rounds yesterday. Gg went full provod, it was pitiful to witness. Gg, doesnt belong to the same ring as hagler, monzón, or hearns, not any single day of his life. A good fighter? sure, yes. But not an atg, never.
