I think Ward would stop him, a little bigger and better in every department.
I thought G beat Canelo but showed a lot of flaws when reflecting how he would go with Ward.
No Ive always thought GGG would stop him in the latter rounds when Canelo slackens off, he did beat Canelo but I really thought his relentless pressure would get him late.
Ward is a lot better than Canelo and is slightly bigger than GGG, I think Ward stops him.
Fair enough, personally I dont see GGG getting stopped by Ward
Werent you the one who said Canelo would make easy work of GGG? Ward probably beats GGG because he's the much bigger guy. I doubt he would stop or even drop him though

Always just seemed like desperation to see him lose, not anyone wanting to see a competitive or interesting fight.
This makes sense
As a Golovkin fan you've watched him in at least 36 uncompetive fights. Yet your still a fan
During the same period Ward was vowing a move to heavyweight and a victory over Wladimir Klitschko... Nobody took it seriously
hardly the same thing, ward would say one day or eventually.. not for his next fight, only being one division up..
people did take it seriously, except golovkin cause ward beats him every day of the week and twice on sunday. Plenty of people were picking gg to beat ward at 168 dont try and change history

I think a lot of people used to think he had a chance vs Ward. And it would have been a chance for him to be great too.
And do you agree then that half the matchups people wanted for Mayweather were just people wanting to see him lose too? Floyd started at 130 and people actually were talking about him fighting Ward for a while too.
I also remember when fans who hate Floyd were hyping a huge Super Welterweight who was undefeated and a young 23 year old bull who had 44 pro fights without a loss. GGG never challenged himself.
now theres no point of this happening, but there was a time when gg and his team said anyone from 154-168.. abel said he could knock out kovalev and stevenson
only ones desperate was team GG, for attention. he wont dare to be great

It's so funny :lol1:
they don't even try to hide it, it's so obvious
i can't understand the hate for guys like him and choco, why are they so mad about them? :lol1:

Why is that sad? People wanted to see Mayweather fight guys 20 lbs bigger, people wanted to see Pacquaio vs middleweights, but GGG couldn't go to 164 when he had the chance?
GGG would have to go to 168 now, but Ward should be able to make that.
When you claim to be great, expect to start being judged to the standards of other greats. And most of the greats moved around in weight at least a little to find challenges. GGG never budged an ounce from 160.

they arent even close in size and like i said 4 yrs ago... it's sad that anyone would even want to see this

I think so too, hell, tiny, old Floyd would school him. Neither GGG nor Canelo looked good, these guys don't deserve to be in the top 5 p4p lists.
Can't believe I agree here. I used to think that while Floyd is clearly the superior boxer, the size would be overwhelming.
The Floyd before Pac (so, not quite prime, but not past it either) beats GGG even if its a 154-160 fight; hell 147-160.
There are levels to this game. And, like him or not (I don't. He's a douche), Floyd doesn't get hit by GGG. Maybe a jab or 2 since those always got to floyd every one in a while
