As if GG has. GG has never fought anything close to great. He lacks the defense to beat Hagler. GGG has just as good of a chin and more power. Plus he is bigger. I hear you say a lot about how the 'bigger' guy usually wins but you think different when it pertains to this match up. If smaller guys as in Duran and Leonard can give Hagler hell im pretty sure a natural Middle like GGG would beat him.

I'm a huge GGG fan, but IMO eeking out a W against Canelo is not enough to make him P4P number one in my book. I think Ward's hold on the spot is very soft.

Canelo beating ggg is far more impressive than if ggg beats Canelo. Unless of course Golovkin destroys Canelo. That is the only way I'll likely jump Golovkin over Ward. He needs to basically demolish Canelo.

Wow dude they're is literally a list as long as my arm of middleweights in history that are better then GGG and Canelo. They may be the best Middleweights of this era but even thats debatable as i'm sure Sergio 'Maravilla' Martinez would have gave them both fits at the peak of his powers You shouldn't even mention these 2 in the same breath as: Mike McCallum; Michael Nunn; Nigel Benn; James Toney; B-Hop. and there's many many more before my time. GGG and Canelo are good fighters but they do not belong up there with the greats GGG and Canelo beat, Nunn, Nigel, and Toney Imo. Nunn was really good but never great let, Gerald feasted on bums even though he beats a great puncher in Jackson, Toney was too in consistent. You guys make it seem as if these fighters of the past were God's when in actuality they weren't
