everyone knows the sport is setup for certain people to win. its not a secret. its often blatant. i dont know why they pretend its not. thats why i will always respect roy jones. he didnt need the ref or judges to help him win(maybe steroids but all boxers do them) in the ring he was a clean fighter and his career didnt last as long shocker. when those reflexes go, you get caught with punches. nowadays we are seeing guys hang on(literally) by clinching it up if they have to. they used to say power was the last thing to go but thats not true. clinching is. a guy like ward was already clinching nonstop in his mid 20's which makes me question his real boxing talent. i really dont think its too much to ask that the ref know and enforce the rules of boxing before he refs a super fight.
