He's gonna come out strong in the first few rounds and look to land a big shot. At some point Floyds gonna time him and knock him down. Then it's basically target practice until the referee or his corner saves Conor from all the punishment.
I was right about everything except the knockdown, hahaha. In all honesty Conor did okay, better than I expected. The biggest problem for him was his conditioning, he couldn't keep his hands up. Floyd was amazing though, he looked great.
These threads are kind of old. The fight is over and everybody now knows his plan was to let Conor wear himself out for about 5 rounds by coming forward and letting Conor punch himself out. Then take over when Conor got tired. Conor did well and won a few early rounds. Mayweather won by TKO in the tenth when the ref stopped the fight with Conor exhausted and take lots of punishment. Mayweather was well in front on all the judge's scorecards and would have soon knocked out Conor. He hurt him badly with strait rights and Conor was on his way out.Good job by both fighters and they respect each other now.

Casting dont work in Boxing you fcuktard half twit. It only works in MMA gloves!
McGregor will try to box at first but then he'll get frustrated and start fouling. By the 4th or 5th Mayweather should take over. If the KO is there he'll go for it. If not he'll cruise to a decision.
In the first round he will stand in the middle of the ring, put his arms behind his back and laugh at Floyd and mock him, try to lure him in and get the crowd involved. He will have some success in the first 3 rounds or so but then Floyd will take over and either stop him late or win a boring decision.
Pressure, pressure, pressure from the bell.
Floyd will simply walk him down and hold the centre of the ring. If it goes to points Floyd wins by a mile.
Ring generalship is far superior.
Conor has a punchers chance.
And for how even a fair performance from Conor would change the landscape of boxing I want him to do that.
It's a good way to get knocked out with your own weight lol
That would be so hilarious and such an insult to mma. Your "trademark" punch got countered for a KO
he will run straight across the ring at the first bell towards floyd trying put him on the back foot right away
i think his team have looked at this as a 4 round fight he is going going to go for broke i cant see him being his usual counter puncher self he is going to try maul floyd in my opinion thinking he will walk through mayweathers shots that seems a bit far fetched but the guys sounded even more deluded than ever last few days he probably thinks he is invincible right now
Do a lot of posturing and unconventional stuff in the 1st. Try to pour it on in the 2nd. Realise half way though the 3rd he can't touch Floyd with anything. Get knocked out in the 4th.This. Except get KOed in round 8 thru 12 if Floyd decides to give the fans a thrill.
Do you think he'll come out heavy from the first bell? He kind of has to
I think he's gonna get raped in his butt regardless
All week I've been predicting 7 knockdowns for Floyd in rd 1 and I know that's obviously ridiculous, but I wouldn't be surprised to see more than 5 in the fight at least, for Floyd.
If you watch McGregor's fight with Alvarez you see that Conor didn't really pursue him, he let Eddie throw the first shots and countered accordingly. I can't see Floyd making that mistake plus he's probably gonna be considerably sharper/faster than Alvarez was and won't be standing there when his opponent throws his counters.
We might not see anything but jabs from Floyd for the first 4-5 rounds while he gets comfortable. Pretty much a shortened version of the strategy he used for the Castillo rematch, then step it up and get that finish.
He actually plans to win he would try to get Floyd to follow him and try to land one good counter punch. Likely not to happen but that's his only chance of winning.
Can't believe we get free fights undercard on Fox channel
Exactly what I was thinking. Gotta give credit to Dana. He been doing this with UFC events. Putting prelims on fox and fox sports. I noticed it for a few Ronda, Jones, and Conor fights. This isnt the doing of MP.
I have a feeling Conor is going to get dropped within the first 2 rounds
He will charge in because he thinks Floyd is small and weak
He will come in, chin in air and get caught clean by something he never saw coming.
