It is quite laughable.
They probably won't and avoid the cold reality that McGregor is a 0-0 newbe.
When this circus take place they will duck it, probably announce his UFC record.
I mean, a "coming from Ireland with a perfect undefeated record of 0-0" would just be laughable.
This is overall not a boxing match, and the funny thing we all knew since the beginning the crooked NSAC would allow that joke.
That's how much boxing is a non sport (with no true world champion title) corrupted by "managers", boxing comissions and federations.
'...Undefeated Challenger who has never lost a single round in proffessional boxing ring. He has a record of 0 wins, no losses, with none of those 0 wins coming by way of knockooooouuut... Conoooor McGreggoooor"
:lol1:
Please make it happen
In the blue corner, we have the fookin fighting pride of Dublin Ireland, coming in with a perfect boxing record of 0 wins 0 losses 0 draws and a 21-0 stand up in the world of MMA he is putting it all on the line for the WBC money belt, the Notorious Conorrrrrrrrr Mcgregorrrrrrrr
the fighters are ready, the judges are ready, the fans in attendance are ready, the millions streaming worldwide are ready
Lets get r...... Oops Its Circustime on Showtime :)
To make the generalization that everyone agrees on anything shows how faulty your argument is, so sit down.
Floyd is obviously the favorite to win the fight, but every combat sports experts worth anything has simply laid out the parameters of the fight and left it at that (Floyd will take some time to figure out what Conor brings to the ring, Conor's window is almost solely during that stretch, Floyd takes over the fight once he's done processing McGregor).
Skills be damned, a 150lb 40-year old man who fights, versus a 170lb 30-year old man who fights, is still a ****ing fight.
If you can't see that, then that's on you.
We will see after the fight if it was a competitive fight.
I think Connor will do worst than Ortiz did vs Floyd.
"In the blue corner, with a MMA record of 21 wins, 19 wins by stoppage, with only three defeats, he is the former UFC featherweight champion, the current reigning UFC lightweight champion, and he is the fighting pride of Dublin, Ireland, making his professional boxing debut, a star, known the world over, "The Notorious" Conor McGregor!"
That is literally what it will be

MMA is MIXED Martial Art
That is HISTORICALLY where boxers, judokas, kickboxers, grapplers and wrestlers met.
Ronda Rousey is coming herself from Judo.
Holm from boxing.
Fédor came from Sambo wich is basically another sort of MMA.
But it doesn't work the other way.
An MMA fighter has no shot in boxing, judo or braz jiu jitsu at the highest level.
Every boxing and MMA experts agrees that it is a mimatch but I guess you know better than them.

They will probably say he's looking to make history tonight as the first fighter to win a boxing and UFC world title.
... except the fight isn't for a world title, though.
The WBC has come forward with a nice trophy for the fight, but that's as far as any talk should go.
Seriously?
When a K1-level kickboxer makes their debut in MMA, what do the announcers say?
Where Fedor Emelianenko to make his debut for the UFC, would the announcer really announce a UFC record? Get over yourself.
They'll announce his UFC record, detail his UFC accomplishments, acknowledge the debut in boxing, and move on with the fight.

'Coming into the boxing ring with 0 wins, 0 losses, 0 draws and a grand total of.... you guessed it, 0 wins by way of knockout....'
Lmaoo that would be perfect

Like others said he'll just say pro debut. Lmao at 21-0 standing up
