Looks to be well schooled, very skilled and very smart but I don't think he has the heaviest hands and we still don't know how tough he is mentally and how good his chin is, but we'll find out as soon as he starts fighting 12 rounders against tough opponents, these early 4 and 6 rounders don't show much about a fighter because they're like the amateurs and we all know he was a great amateur, but the pros are completely different.
I LOVE what I see from the kid so far. Patients, Poise, Accuracy, Amazing Hand Speed
Only 3 Pro fights so of course he has things to work on. All that will come but he already has things that you can't teach to his game and his Flaws are fixable. It is not the Lack of Power at all I think it is more of a guy still trying to figure out how GUIDE and SETUP that Power. All that will come, he still learning how to use his "SUPER POWERS" Basically :lol1:
Of course the dumb fuks will come with their doubt, would would anybody expect MORE on this forum :nonono:
Judging a kid and writing him off after his 3rd Pro Fight. A fight in which he didn't lose a round and dominate from start to finish. Only On This Forum!
No. Couldn't put away a club fighter who has lost half his fights, no power, so when he tries going up in weight, he will have to fight in the back foot all the time, making boring outings. No star material, might make a few bucks fighting tomato cans.
He is very pillow fisted. Not just from observing this fight...I see him land good shots and his opponents just shrug them off. This is against guys that probably have more quit than fight in them, and that just doesn't bode well for him IMHO.
I think so!
His footwork is his best asset and his jab!
Two things that will help you when you face guys who can KO you or just elite competition!
I can see him getting stronger since he's still growing and isn't nowhere near close to his prime!
Who knows he might be like a Danny Garcia, mostly rising to the occasion and looking good or great against solid opponents but not impressive against bums or garbage truck workers!
We'll see
None of that changes the fact the fact that he cried like a b1tch. He makes victor ortiz look tough

I don't think so. He's good, but he doesn't seem special to me. I feel like a guy that would rough him up and show him no respect could really have their way with him.
That is how I've felt watching him
I honestly dont think so. I know he is young and have lots to learn but i dont see that spark in him.
of course, we don't always know who the stars will be. There are a 100 different roads one can take .....but that disclaimer aside, superstar talent just has a way of leaping off the screen and not sure I've seen that just yet. I will say it was the end of the 5th round I believe it looked like he definitely has another level to him, he warmed up a bit and looked more fluid.
for some reason I always worry about the American AMs who turn pro and still carry the "ahhh" after every shot they throw.
