If canelo wins I doubt he unifies. Hell look for the next star name. I dunno who that could be. If ggg wins it will likely be bjs next and then probably retirement.

All depends on how the winner wins. If it is a razor thin or controversial decision, then a rematch would be in order. If one of them gets KTFO, then winner should try to unify with Saunders (if he has the balls to fight the winner). Loser needs to regroup and consider their options or commitment to the MW division. I would like to see Charlo/Jacobs square off, winner gets winner of this fight. Lemieux vs. Canelo is intriguing. I don't see anyone compelling enough at 168 for GGG to move up for, Ramirez included. MW division is heating up, 168 is drying up. Ward will not come down to 164 to fight GGG, he might be willing to do 168 if the money is right. That would be the only fight at 168 I would be interested in seeing GGG. Pretty much my thoughts, thanks.

Golovkin wins, he faces BJS and then retires. He won't fight anyone after that. Not Jacobs, not Charlo, not Zurdo, and definitely not Ward. If Canelo wins, then he can face either Lemieux or BJS. The WBC belt is vacated, which could lead to Charlo vs. Jacobs for that strap. Even if Canelo was on good terms with the WBC, he most likely wouldn't face Jacobs or Charlo.

yes, cotto at 157 will be like a soft touch, and that was the plan since early in the year, he posted on facebook or somewhere, chavez-ggg-cotto... I don't mind this. Cotto did good in the first fight. Canelo won clearly, but it was a good fight. I think Cotto def wants to cash out. But I will say this, if they fight at 160, Canelo knocks him out. I thought there were times Canelo could've finished Cotto in the first fight but he was careful. If they fight again anywhere between 157-160, Canelo KO's him into retirement.

GGG will be called a cherry picker picking on smaller fighters. Canelo will be called an overrated bum overnight. People will claim ggg still has not fought anyone. Personally I don't feel Charlo has earned the Canelo/GGG fight. If anything maybe Charlo and Jacobs can fight for the opportunity at the winner of Canelo/GGG.
