Mikey Garcia's dominance of Broner was amazing. He has to be in the P4P rankings. I honestly don't see anyone beating him at Lightwgt. Although I do see Linares has the chance of giving him a good fight. I think he'll be able to beat Terrance Crawford. I call it how I see it, or rather I call it how it is.
P4P
1-Ward
2-GGG
3-Canelo
4-Thurman
5-Mikey Garcia
6-Loma
7-Crawford
8-Santa Cruz
9-Badou
10-Frampton
WHo's he beat though? Litzau, DeMarco, Theopane? Those dudes are b-level cats. Old Ponce don't count so lets not.
De Leon wasn't old in 2011 bro. Plus, Broner has several other good wins on his ledger as well. Demarco was a good win at the time as well as Gavin Rees. He also beat Malignaggi before he was shot and John Molina who is always tough.
Salido was a technical draw. Burgos --- bleh, Juanma --- shot. Broker, b-level. Nobody is right!
Now don't take this like i'm hating on Loma, after all he is one of the best in the world today.
Since this is the forum, where for as much that a fighter accomplishes something we find a way to diminish it. And since you want to diminish Mikey's wins. Lets look into their common opponents. Salido, so you consider his bout with Salido a technical draw...huh? Ok, this same Salido won a decision over Lomachenko. Loma KO Martinez & so did Mikey but he did so 3 years earlier. Do you see where we are going with this? Diminishing every fighters win with excuses after excuses.
And after giving it some time & consideration, I do see that Loma does edges Mikey in resume. Well folks looks like we have a real fight in our hands!
Garcia hasn't beaten anyone? Really??? And who has Loma beaten?
Mikey beat; Burgos, Salido, Juanma, Rocky Martinez & Broner.

SMH........so Broner is a nobody now? lol
So he's a nobody over night?
Sounds about right for typical boxing fans...

LMFAO!!! Yes I think Badou shoul've gotten that dec against Degeale. Ok maybe I effed up here... But I stand by my efff-up. :-)
Yea to me Manny still deserves the top 10 P4P. He didn't really lose to Horn and anyone with a brain, including the judges know it.
I have him at #10 on my P4P list now.
1. Ward
2. Crawford
3. Lomachenko
4. Golovkin
5. Canelo
6. Rigondeaux
7. Thurman
8. Spence
9. Kovalev
10. Mikey Garcia
Yea Garcia is the truth. They don't necessarily avoid Mikey like they do Loma but he's such a solid fighter.
When you have guys like Mikey who completely negates the speed and countering ability of Broner, and Loma who makes a guy like Russell Jr look slow, you know their foundation has zero flaws in it.
Good Post!
I agree that Garcia should be in the bottom half of the P4P top ten, but who is Badou? Do you mean, one decent win Badou Jack? lol

Garcia really hasn't beaten anybody though. I am a fan of Garcia mind you.

I just think he's that good. I honestly believe he can beat anyone at 130 and 135. Including Mikey. Of course he still has some accomplishing to do but I think he's that good at the moment and deserves to be high on the list based off skill set and dominating in the ring lately.
Well we agree to disagree, LOL. Everyone looks good fightng fighters that been in wars & or ...but lets see how how good he looks when he has Mikey in front of him. I think at Lightwgt Mikey's power is too much for him. Don't get wrong Loma is a superb boxer, if anyone can do it he can. I just feel Mikey can beat him.
Do you know how many boxers starting their careers beating the #1. man in the division for his first world title have won world titles and lineal accolades from 105-115 against men that are bound for the HOF?
now you talk about Gonzalez losing that fight vs. Rungvisai or not dominating? he was pretty dominate climbing up those weights don't you think? and many considered that decision a disgrace -- listen man Gonzalez did not start his career when HBO signed him, you cant find many of the top five boxers with his accomplishments throughout multiple weights and putting in work for close to a decade fighting the best nonstop, while these other guys have just caught the publics attention around three years ago.
I get it Bro, Chocalatito has been on my list waaaay before HBO introduced him to the world. It just so happens that the list is ever evolving constantly...
Santa's P4P list
1. ward
2. crawford
3. gonzalez
4. lomachenko
5. golovkin
6. canelo
7. King Leo El Famoso Terremoto Santa Cruz
8. garcia
9. nietes
10. yamanaka
I dig your P4P list. But can you tell me why do you have Loma at $ & Mikey at 8 when they have just about the same accomplishments? I'm not dissing you, just having a dialog.
Chocalatito lost against someone that is not considered up & coming or even dominating or rather P4P worthy, is why I left him off. As far as for Pacquia, although many saw him winng that fight, he did not look P4P worthy anymore was getting hit a lot. I feel Joshua is not there yet but he's climbing. As for Kovalev, he does belong there...but the P4P ranking is an ever constant evolving ranking.

and jeff horn
Jeff Horn? You gotta be kidding. He beat an old Pacquia, please don't mistaken this Pac with the 2009 Pac (that's 8 years difference). Not if Horn KO's Danny Garcia & beats Porter....then he can be mentioned among the best of all regardless of what division.
