Using his 1-2 grab technique I think he'd beat Tyson by tying him up, there's always the factor of Wlad getting KO'd though.
Would be an interesting style matchup.
Prime Tyson vs prime Wladimir Klitschko....I definitely pic Klitschko. Tyson would get worn down and if he managed to survive the full 12 rounds he would be a hurtin' unit. Wlad could keep him at range for extended periods and whenever Tyson gets in he would be tied up and Klitschko would put his weight on him tiring Mike out....And if Wlad lands a bomb on Tyson's chin he would crumble the same way Lennox and Buster made him crumble. Tyson has to expend way too much energy to score on a guy who's as big and defensively good as Wladimir. You guys are reverting to the ridiculous hysteria that the dumb boxing casuals fell for in the mid to late 80's. Buster Douglas knew better than to believe in that bullsheeit.
To beat Tyson, you need size, and be able to weather the storm. I think Wlad could weather the storm. The late great Cus D'mato even admitted that tyson's style was predicated on getting guys out of their early. After that, his head movement becomes less of a problem, he jabs less, he starts attacking in a straight line.
IMHO Either Tyson knocks him out within three rounds or the fight drags on and Tyson gets K.O'd at about round 8-9.
Just to give an example.....

How many years between pics ?
I'm not sure anyone could beat late 80s Tyson. Opponents were scared sh*tless of him, and you never see that in seasoned pro fighters. That being said, I'd take a mid to late career Vitali to trade with him from the outside and get the better of the exchanges. Wlad's chin is just a bit too sketchy as much as I'm a Wlad fan. Killer Tyson will absolutely bob and weave his way inside and land some nasty shots. Prime for prime, Vitali probably would win. Wlad not so much.
You want to hear some sh*t? I got my balls broke to no end by my friends here in Philly when Holyfield first moved up to heavyweight from cruiserweight for suggesting he was on the juice.
Everyone here thought I was crazy for saying it. I said did you see what this man has turned into? He went from cruiserweight to looking like a black Frankenstein.
I felt the same way about Michael Jordan too. Definitely on the juice. He came into the nba skinny as a rail.
Next thing you know, he bald and muscled out lol.
Gotta watch these cats, man. Chasing that paper make you do some funny sh*t sometimes.
Well, it's best not to argue with blind die hard fans who don't know any better, it can get out of hand sometimes, ex. Guy who stabbed his brother to death over the MayPac fight in West Philly. It shouldn't be taken too serious, it's just sports entertainment.
Hmm, I don't know about Jordan being on the juice, I haven't heard anything about that. I'm not even sure if roids would make someone a better basketball player.
Honestly Wlad is to soft..Tyson would rough him up ..Wlad is not great at keeping distance and grabbing Tysons head would just open his body up for destruction.
I don't see it larry, a jab and range can beat Mike, not that Im a fan of Klit I just think Mike was over rated against prime elite HWs, and a 6.5 elite guy with a great jab would give him hell, I don't even think Mike could beat prime Riddick Bowe.

Wlads strategy could work for a while but Tyson is a absolute devastating puncher. And Wlad has been rocked and even lost to lesser fighters than Tyson. I can't see Wlad avoiding getting caught at some point.
