With a better resume
More world titles won
More lineal titles won
More p4p fighters faced and defeated
If he is this huge cherry picker it should be easy right??
What were all these other so called great fighters doing besides losing?? why were they not dominating and beating other p4p fighters?
Champions don't matter
30 years ago Floyd wouldn't even be a champion.
In this worlds champions are made by promoters and boxers are handed titles. P4p list is owned by oscar, who co promoted with Floyd, again don't matter at all
Floyd hardly ever faced a prime fighter in their best weight class, his biggest win is against a war torn pacman and then a part time boxer in oscar
He lost to Castillo and got a gift. He ducked a prime Mosley, cotto, Margarito, kosta and pacman
That will be his legacy oh and him taking saline to avoid ped detection like Armstrong did
End of story, you Floyd fans can say what you want, the world knows he was a ped cheat who ducked the best competition and only fought guys when they were past their prime or not in their natural weight class
He retired 3-4 times In a 21 year career. How many past champions from 30 years ago would pay another fighter 1.5 million to avoid wearing a particular pair of boxing gloves. I really can't see how the guy has any legitimate fans.

See Larry the fact that you put jmm the ghost canelo Ortiz and maidana shows you are a fan boy. Who cares if he was 10 and 0! Only prime fighters in that list were Ortiz and Guerrero and both are sh it
so somehow Hatton and Maidana were not prime...and all the fighters on that list are younger than Mayweather except JMM and Mosley
Oscar
Hatton
Jmm
Mosley
Ortiz
Cotto
Guerrero
Canelo
Maidana
Pacquiao
10-0 in these fights all in a row..but yea he didnt take any risks

But to answer TS, Floyd has been his own boss since 2006. That literally means Floyd could fight whomever he wanted from 135 to 154. If he felt like fighting the #1 Lightweight, he'll fight the #1 Lightweight. If he felt like fighting the #1 JWW at WW, that's what he would do.
If Horn is ranked #1 at WW at the end of 2017 and Floyd wants to steal some more money, that's what he'll do. If he feels like fighting a guy that's 0-0, guess what? You get the point.
The Pac and Canelo fights were good fights at the time. Was Pac the same in 2015 that he was in 2009? No.
Should Floyd have fought Cotto, Margarito and Williams between 2008-2009 instead of retiring? Yes.
Horn isn't #1.
You keep bringing up Linares. Why? No one mentioned Floyd fighting a #1 ranked fighter outside of the divison being fought in so unless Floyd moves down to 135 and fights him that example doesn't make sense.
It's really not that difficult.
When there is not champion available, the #1 challenger is the #1 ranked fighter. When a champion is available, the #1 challenger is the #1 Challenger to the championship.
Going off your theory of the Champion being #1, the annual Ring rankings would look like this:
Champion
#2
#3
#4
They don't look like that because the Champion can't be the #1 Challenger to his own championship.
Let's look at how The Ring ranks 2016 Heavyweights, Mr. Retard:
Tyson Fury, Champion
1.Wladimir Klitschko
2.Deontay Wilder
3.Kubrat Pulev
4.Luis Ortiz
5.Anthony Joshua
6.Joseph Parker
7.Bermane Stiverne
8.David Haye
9.Andy Ruiz Jr.
10.Dillian Whyte
Going off your retarded theory, it would look like this:
Tyson Fury, Champion
2.Wladimir Klitschko
3.Deontay Wilder
4.Kubrat Pulev
5.Luis Ortiz
6.Anthony Joshua
7.Joseph Parker
8.Bermane Stiverne
9.David Haye
10.Andy Ruiz Jr.
Since when has the #1 ranked fighter been the "#1 ranked challenger" ?
That's news to me.
The Champion is the #1 fighter in the division I don't even know why this is being discussed. After the Champion it starts from #1-10. It's not difficult.
IronDanHamza Robbie Barrett
How is the Champion the #1 challenger to his own championship?
The Champion is the #1 in the entire divison because he's the champion, obviously.
I've explained this.
no one denying floyd has a great resume or isnt a great fighter. We just saying teh dude ducked lmfao why is that hard to admit. Well you admit it but you always following it up with an *
He ducked cotto *but thats cause he dont fight top rank.
so we all saying the exact same thing just some of us are emotionally attached to the subject matter and some us are real men who arent.
Arum's excuses for not making Floyd-Top Rank fights have included everything all the way up to needing to build an entire stadium. Thats reality, you cant make that chit up, Arum said fight cant be made now, we got to build an entire stadium. Then a few years latter made that same fight at MGM like they originally were negotiating on and not a peep about this new stadium.
so the only fighter who comes close to him is manny another atg???? Who head to head he happened to beat??
No larry, why do you constantly try to put words in people's mouths, if floyd fought 50 years ago he would have had a very short career, 15 rounds, fighting numerous times a year, his body couldn't have handled it
You are a racist coward. Spewing your typical "homeboy" bullsh1t propaganda.
Mayrunner is trash. He lost to bums like castillo, maidana, judah and victor sosa for fcuksake. VICTOR SOSA!
Homeboys always overrate bums like clay, jones, hagler etc
the list is endless.
Even hector camacho was better than floyd.
Just let that sink in "homeboy".
should be easy to list fighters then right?? lets hear them
They were too busy beating up on each other bro taking risks and challenging themselves while Floyd had his fake retirement.
Oscar
Hatton
Jmm
Mosley
Ortiz
Cotto
Guerrero
Canelo
Maidana
Pacquiao
10-0 in these fights all in a row..but yea he didnt take any risks
And just when I thought you were trying to be objective. The ONLY reason you're not hating on Pac is because Floyd beat him and that boosts Floyd's resume.
One minute you're talking about money, the next you're talking about legacy.
It's ok for Floyd to skip out the best times at 147 because?? He felt like retiring? That's ok?
How many times has Floyd had to ask someone if they're their own boss? You know why? Because they're not their own boss, only Floyd is.
What does that mean? That means if Floyd wants to fight the #1 Lightweight, you guys will love him for it. If he wants to fight the #1 JWW you guys will love him for it. If he wants to fight a guy that's 0-0, you guys will love him for it.
At the end of 2010, Victor Ortiz was the #9 ranked JWW. Victor beat The Great Andre Berto and "earned" his shot with Mayweather. This is what I'm talking about. Floyd might as well fight Jeff Horn next.
Wanna know what Robert Guerrero's WW resume consisted of? Aydin and Berto. Selcuk Aydin and Andre Berto. But tell me how beating Guerrero was the greatest thing since slice bread? Why because he was #10 P4P? When Pac beat Mosley, Mosley was #8 if I'm not mistaken and we know where Mosley was in his career.
He was the interim WBC champ and Floyds mandatory..who says it was some great win??? but he was coming off of a damn good win and when Manny fought Mosley he was coming offo of a lose and a draw so why compare the 2?,,Ortiz was the WBC champ..is Floyd not suppose to fight a ww champ? isnt that what you are saying he doesnt do?
if they were that good wouldnt atleast one of them had came out on top?
They were too busy beating up on each other bro taking risks and challenging themselves while Floyd had his fake retirement.
No answer Chuck?
Because there isn't anyone bro but you already know that so why even start the thread my man?
He is an atg and top 3 of our era maybe even the best I just don't get why you have to ball wash him all the time. Not everyone has to like him
but to answer ts, floyd has been his own boss since 2006. That literally means floyd could fight whomever he wanted from 135 to 154. If he felt like fighting the #1 lightweight, he'll fight the #1 lightweight. If he felt like fighting the #1 jww at ww, that's what he would do.

he tarnished himself with the iv, great fighter, brilliant defense, but was it turbo charged? You guys call floyd tbe but it's very hard to go past 8 divisions, imagine if floyd fought at lhw, could he win and damage the fighter like pacquaio did? I think not
so the only fighter who comes close to him is manny another atg???? Who head to head he happened to beat??
Since you're being so objective, why can't you admit that Floyd retired during a fcuked up time?
Why can't you admit that from 2007-2009 there were some crucial moves being made at 147 and Floyd didn't participate in none of it.
Floyd and Cotto were on a crash course to meet in early 2008 and Floyd told Larry Merchant how he really felt.
Cotto and Manny have lost yes. Hell, even Margarito and Williams lost. But guess what? They didn't need 3-4 retirements.
Why can't you admit this?
And before you start talking about titles, just remember that "Floyd is his own boss" and fights who he wants when he wants to fight them.
Man they never made the money Floyd made even then..Soon as Cotto started making good money look at the damn diva he became...STOP!!!! Floyd is an ATG damn great and that is WHY YOU CANT NAME NO DAMN FIGHTERS FROM HIS ERA WHO ACCOMPLISHED MORE OR HAD A BETTER RESUME!!! simple as that..all the posts you have made and you still have not answered the thread question..STOP HATING DAMN!!!
Thing is with me im not here to bash Manny who is one of the greatest fighters to ever lace up a pair of gloves..The title at 154 was a joke but the fact that Manny came from such a small weight outweighs the damn title..fvck the title this guy went in and beat up a huge Margarito, i mean beat him worse than anyone in his entire career..sure Mosley knocked him out but Manny ended the mans career..He beat Margarito like he raped his daughter...Manny is a wonderful fighter and i only made threads about him to piss off his troll ass fans...
But why cant Floyd get the same damn respect? The man did whatever he had to do to adjust and win without the power of Manny, which in my mind makes it harder to win cause you dont have that X factor with your power..Both are freaks of nature and i am thankful to have witnessed them fight
He tarnished himself with the IV, great fighter, brilliant defense, but was it turbo charged? You guys call Floyd TBE but it's very hard to go past 8 divisions, imagine if Floyd fought at LHW, could he win and damage the fighter like pacquaio did? I think not
