MMA will rightfully have a massive superiority complex! I don't think this fight is the white wash you are all expecting! MG is something Floyd hasn't seen before.. He comes from a different striking background & pedigree. He's a southpaw with a heavy handed slightly unorthodox switch hitting style. He's clearly bigger too! He's unpredictable! Brash! He could bully Floyd here.. I suspect Floyd gets on his bike early & MG taunts him for *****ing out and refusing to engage a 0-0 fighter. This could be comical! It could also be a DQ! LOL I don't buy that this is a complete mismatch. Win or lose I bet MG surprises a few! There is something a bit unique & special about MG ( I agree he's a bellend, both are) but he's no mug! Watch!
Conor would win if this was pre 20th century boxing or even early 20th century boxing(in other words closer to real fighting). It is going to be interesting to see the gap between an MMA fighter's grappling and a boxer's one dimensional grappling. The ref will be on that every second of the fight though, Floyd's got this with this ruleset.
How does beating Mayweather, or even landing a punch say anything about MMA vs Boxing?
Could Mcgregor beat GGG, Canelo, Spence, Thurman, Porter, Ward, Kovalev, or even freaking Jeff Horn?
If MMA is so superior I wanna see Mcgregor outbox Joshua
I think you are missing the point. Who cares that there are some people he can't beat. Because if he beats Floyd, he should be regarded as one of the best boxers. Floyd is not just some random win. He has been P4P king for a very very long time, his reign of dominance would get shattered and that would be something that no other boxer had ever been able to accomplish, so it doesn't really matter that there are (perhaps) bigger challenges out there. Floyd is boxings #1 guy.
Bullsh^t bro. He was 15-0 in Mexico & then beat Leo The Lion Sporino. Still impressive, but not on the scale of Loma or Conor (if he were to beat Floyd).

I was under the impression that his fights in Mexico were unlicensed so that must be his Fight Fax record
:lol1::lol1:

If Conor has or ever had the boxing skills to beat Mayweather then he should have been a pro boxer. He would have made many times as much money as he has made as a cage fighter and he would have prettier ears.

Nate Diaz didn't even box with conor
He just slapped the shlt outta him
This is Floyd
Like it or not
The most accurate puncher
Highest ring I.Q
Still fast
Got brilliant footwork
Floyd is always in control of the ring
Conor is a huge target with that big nut of his
Anybody disagrees don't comment
Put your money where your mouth is!!!!
Floyd had to KO him, or its going to be embarrassing for him.
I also think Floyd may and try the rough house tactics, but Connor will just rag him around.
Nobody knows how good a puncher McGregor is and Malignaggi sounded as though he isn't the puncher people are advertising him as. As for bully Mayweather, even Mayweather stopped himself in an interview and said he doesn't know whether McGregor is stronger, that strength has to be designated for boxing, e.g being able to maneuver yourself in and around the clinch.
McGregor is used to hitting guys who stand too squared up due to the sport their in, guys who can't move their upper body as freely due to the possibility of knees or know how to turn with the punches. Even if they knew all of that it'd still be a problem because I can only assume one doesn't have to land too cleanly with much smaller gloves in the UFC.
Mayweather isn't gonna be intimidated, McGregor will eat more body shots than he's ever ate, that power will diminish as the fight progresses and McGregor is gonna have to show an inside game.
Yep, the haters said that Adonis Creed vs Pretty Ricky Conlan was a mismatch too, but he lasted the distance and almost won against the pound-for-pound king in just his second pro fight with no amateur background
