It's the boxing fans that are the victims when they see him fight.. This bum has been announcing "announcements" for 4 months now.
FIGHT SOMEONE WITH A PULSE!
Not only is it a better fight.. Breazeale isn’t a trash talker. The lead up to Whyte and Wilder will be some epic sh*t. Plus he gets career high payday and it lines him up for a shot at AJ!!! It’s inexcusable for him to fight Breazeale.. Only Ortiz or Povetkin would be accepted.
Breazeale has weak chin and has been floored by multiple guys.. tailor made for Wilder, he’ll catch him soon and drop him.
I definitely agree that Whyte is the better option of the two.
Though Wilder vs Breazeale is not a bad match up, it's better than a Stiverne rematch. Their would be trash talk between Breazeale and Wilder because they have a history together from back in February when they had that altercation in the hotel lobby. Breazeale filed a lawsuit I believe.
So there's genuine bad blood between the two, so it wouldn't be a bad fight considering that and also considering that Breazeale is a top 10 Heavyweight.
But I am in total agreement that Whyte is the better fight, more money and a chance to grow with the British audience. I definitely agree.
I don't have an issue with Wilder fighting a top 10 Heavyweight while waiting for a unification fight. If fighting Whyte though is going to get you paid the most money, if it's not Ortiz or something, then I don't see how you decline fighting Whyte.
Hearn did have terms with the offer, so not sure if the terms were control of a particular amount of fights in the future. I heard Eddie mention a certain amount of fights for Wilder were included in the deal. Maybe Wilder didn't like that part of the deal. We just don't know the exact details of that offer and what that package included.
I thought Wilder was fighting his mandatory Stiverne?
According to Stiverne he said he wouldn't take step aside money.
If Wilder gets a pass on Stiverne by the WBC for whatever reason then yes Wilder should challenge himself with the best available Heavyweight that is not Joshua, Klitschko or Parker and work his way from there.
Guys in the top 10 are Luis Ortiz, Kubrat Pulev, Andy Ruiz, Dillian Whyte, Dominic Breazeale.
Now I do agree that Dillian Whyte is the better option for Wilder money wise and match up wise compared to Dominic Breazeale.
ESPN has Whyte ranked #8 and Breazeale #9
Ring Magazine has Whyte ranked #9 and Breazeale #10
TBRB has Whyte ranked #10, Breazeale is not ranked by TBRB.
So yeah if Wilder gets a pass on Stiverne, between Whyte and Breazeale, Whyte is the better option.
Wilder should be trying to get the highest ranked guys in the ring first in the top 10 and then work his way down the list from #1 to #10, of course some of those ranked aren't available, but you know what I mean.

assuming it's breazeale, that'll be his 4th fight against someone is in the top 12 in the IWBR's latest rankings.
shows how little his detractors know about boxing. he's knocking out legitimate world contenders and people act like his opponents are complete nobodies. even when they're literally one of the 10 best heavyweights in the world.
People are idiots. I'm not sure who DW is supposed to fight at this point. Ortiz's career is basically shot, he's as HW Rigo. Whyte isn't ready, Fury is Jabba the Hut, Parker is terrified of him, and AJ is tied up.
Breazeale is a tough dude..
if he had the better resume, he'd be way higher in the computer rankings.
the facts don't support your position.
Hope you not talking about boxrec

You make announcements when it's something the public want.. If he's fighting Stiverne or Breazeale..those aren't fights you tease about making announcements for 4 months.
All I ever hear from Wilder now is, "get ready, big announcement coming" then a week goes by with nothing announced and he comes out and says the same thing the next week. Just get Stiverne out of the way already FFS
Don't kid yourself. Whyte is way better than Breazeale.. Has a better resume than him.. Is a tougher fight for Wilder. Breazeale got dropped by multiple guys! Mansour decked him and almost stopped him, AJ blasted him.. He didn't even win 10 seconds of a single round in that fight.. Even a prospect in Ugonoh dropped him and almost stopped him!
All I see you doing is make excuses.. Stiverne dodging drugs?.. Excuses excuses.. I'm sorry it's inexcusable. He's a world champion! For his 39th fight, fighting a guy AJ demolished in his 16th fight is not acceptable. Only you Wilder fan boys will make this out to be a brilliant fight.
See the difference with AJ fans.. even when AJ fought Breazeale for his 16th fight.. AJ fans called Breazeale a bum and said they want to AJ step up. Wilder fans cheer with excitement when Wilder fights bums like Breazeale and they say he's a legit, serious credible HW. It's a joke.
Excellent post. Well said.
Dude should fight that Polish guy who just knocked out Szpilka, he's about the level he likes fighting at, a D level scrub. His fans are content with him fighting at the level he's fought at.
#39 doesn't really have much of a ring to it when it's preceded by almost 3 dozen bums and a few fringe contenders
I'm rooting for Deontay to get in some real opposition soon
