I'm trying to explain to you why the fight is happening. I'm not justifying anything. The fight is happening because there is big dollars involved for both parties. In the eyes of the general public and the media the winner will be validated. Validation is good for the fighters ego and their pocket book when they negotiate their next fight. As far as Floyd goes he can come out of retirement and fight anyone he wants. That's his business. Whether a win against a guy with zero pro experience is going to be recognized as an achievement is open for debate. Since you mentioned microscopes Gennady has been under a microscope for quite a while. So my impression is, you think it's unfair that your favorite fighters are being critisized so you want to even the score by attacking another fighter. I stopped being a fan of Mayweather when he morphed from Pretty Boy Floyd into Money May. I gradually lost interest in following his career. Andre Ward. I don't like the wrestling, headbutting etc that he does on a constant basis. I didn't care for it before I knew Golovkin exsisted. Guys like Loma and Spence I can get behind because they are exciting fighters that to me at box generally by the rules.
So basically you are saying you dont like real legends and champions. But prefer to stand behind a guy that HBO and his promoter created with an image by fighting B and C level fighters.
yep

damn bruh, sucks you got locked up again. Its saturday, you banging any twink ass tonight?
50 fights and you think the shorter man is the one who is going to control range? Yeah ok.
It's a shame you're a fellow Corbyn supporter.
You think a boxer can only control range by being taller than his opponent? Seriously?
I've had plenty of fights, including over 50 in the boxing ring. But you don't need to have had any fights at all to understand the "size" is a 3 dimensional quality, and no single one of those 3 dimensions is any more important than the others.
If 2 men are the same weight and one man is taller, then the shorter man must be broader or thicker, and what matters is which one of them can impose his own advantage on the other by means of tactics, control of range, etc.

Green K sent, great post!
I'm not syaing weight isn't important but height is a massive part of what makes "size" if you don't understand you have neevr taken part in a fight, let alone boxing

The only way to match fighters by size is to match them by weight. That's why boxing, and every other combat sport, has weight divisions. Not height divisions, or fist size divisions, or leg length divisions ... weight divisions.
GGG and Canelo are the same weight, and therefore, the same size.

No. But even when you admit that its not a good fight or a career defining fight you still justify it....thats all. And Im glad you recognize its not a career defining fight. But so many GGG act and talk that it IS one. And its not. The media has just force fed this fight which is why GGGs fans act this way. The media and HBO need big fights and so they put a big name like Canelo with a built up brand they pushed and all of the sudden people act like its some legendary night for GGG already. Canelo hasnt beaten a MW yet.
I just wonder why its ok for you to say its not career defining. But its for money so its ok. So a guy with no career defining, great, fights can chase money meanwhile guys like Floyd and Ward have every move put under a microscope and criticized when they have accomplished much more?

Ok why are you saying the media is making up my mind when I said the complete opposite.

wow...just WOW. This is terrible on so many levels...i dont even have the time today to break this down.
So the media tells you what is "career defining"? As if the media always tells the truth or the complete story?
YOU make almost no sense. Thats like telling me everything I see on the news must be true and factual. So much wrong in your post..i Just cant
Ok why are you saying the media is making up my mind when I said the complete opposite.
Lmfao, so he was right, you are a racebaiter.
He is. Calling someone an ape is not racist. In fact there are white apes. Ape = animal similar to an human but with significantly lower IQ.
There is no need to discredit either fighter both are great champions, GGG is not in his prime but even at his current age, should be in great shape, I think the whole fight will go based on his jab if he sticks to it it could be an easy fight, if he goes toe to toe, it could get really interesting because Canelo has the better speed and counterpunching, may the best man win
In our first conversation you called me a fucking ape when all you knew is that I was a Ward/Mayweather fan. Clearly you were being a racist cunt and assumed I was black. :dunce:
Lmfao, so he was right, you are a racebaiter.
Are Canelo fans actually still saying Canelo is smaller than GGG? Or are GGG fans making up their own news as usual?? I think most acknowledge GGG is taller, if some say bigger, again I think they are referencing height. Most people I believe acknowledge Canelos thick framed.
Not Canelo fans. Actually Floyd fans/GGG haters. They say things like: "Canelo never fought at MW therefore he is smaller". Which doesn't make sense because everyone knows Canelo is heavier than Golovkin.
Why would that hurt?
When do I use the race card? It's always Golovkin fans that mention race, like you just did.
When do you use the racist card? I've lost the count on how many times you called me racist. Fool.

Keep reaching. Twisting what Hunter actually said into what you want people to believe he means. In a pathetic attempt to validate your opinion. :dunce:
We all know who Hunter would say if he was pushed to say who was #1.
You basically said because Hunter said put them in any order, that all P4P top 10 have a case for #1. So Kovalev has a case does he? :dunce: :lol1:
Hunter said GGG is not hype, said Canelo weights 180 on fight night, and said GGG is a P4P fighter.
Hurts so much right? can't use the race card this time. LMAO.
