Watch when Spence cherrypicks Horn. These brothas will suddenly change their tune and say Horn is the biggest challenge of his life.
Horn was mandatory to Spence had Brook vacated his title.
Spence is a young champion just starting his reign. How are you going to compare him to Manny Pacquiao?
You can't compare Horn to Chino. There's a clear gulf in talent and experience between the two
Yeah, some of the differences are - Horn has better movement, is faster and is more awkward.

A couple I can remember watching live
Vivian Harris vs Carlos Maussa - Supposed to be Vivian Harris' coming out party on the Gatti v Mayweather Jr undercard - Maussa knocked Harris into the next suburb and was lucky to not get DQed if I remember correctly - I think he followed him falling down and laid into him while he was lying on the ground!
Zab Judah vs Carlos Baldomir - Judah gets out worked, i think he didnt train much before the fight and was lazy
Bernard Hopkins vs Joe Smith was abit of a cherry pick in my opinion! But when i analysed both fighters? Stylistically i knew Bernard Hopkins would find the fight very tough at the advance stage in his career etc.
It was a sad way to end his career, when he could of just picked a fighter who was GOOD but stylistically tailor made for himself! (Somebody like Nathan Cleverly would of been a good ending fight! Cleverly does not really have the punching power to hurt Hopkins, and his movement is not amazing but? He has fast hands and a immense work-rate! It would of been a admirable/exciting way for Hopkins to end his career! And Golden Boy Promotions could of really sold this match up very well! It would of been a massive fight!)....
Its not a cherry pick, its similar to Maidana vs Mayweather a lot of people had Maidana winning that first fight, and said Floyd cherry picked him because he was tailor made, but it turned out to be a tough out for Floyd and Maidana isnt even a top caliber guy he got schooled by a one eyed bloated Erik Morales.
STyles make fights
Awkward sloppy high volume weird non traditional worker fighters are hard as hell to beat.
Horn was legit and people hate him because of his complexion watch when he fights Bradley and Vargas he will shut idiots up, but I dont expect them to give Horn props even if he beats those guys they will find a reason to discredit that white hornet

It's a shame the controversy is really overshadowing what just happened. A veteran and ATG like Pac got roughhoused and bullied by a former school teacher. Imagine how the boxing world would react if a green fighter with no championship level experience gave Floyd all he could handle?
I don't care how old Manny is, his performance was embarrassing. This honestly should bump Manny down a few spots on the ATG rankings.
Even if you think Manny won this was supposed to be an easy showcase fight for him and it turned into a war.

He got lazy and greedy, looking for an easy pay day....didn't even look engaged or bothered, fiddling on his phone and thinking it would be a quick KO. Horn proved him wrong.
I didn't consider it a cherry pick or a showcase (said this before the fight... not changing it for convenience) due to manny's decline. It was bound to be competitive.
Manny is visibly past it and Horn is slightly underrated, neither guy is a runner. In a toe to toe fight youth and strength is a massive equalizer.
Would joshua have beaten a prime wlad? joe smith knocked a prime hopkins out of the ring like a sack of potatoes? no and no. same thing here.
I expect horn to step up a bit too quickly and lose though.
I still think Garcia vs. Herrera was the biggest, because of how Danny's career and reputation has fallen off since that fight. Garcia was also in his prime.
This fight, while the decision was bad, Pacquiao fought like a 38 year old fighter. He was slow in there, even against a slow fighter like Horn. It's a bad loss but you have to take into account he's past his prime.
