Honest question, just curious if you guys are going to or willing to pay 100 to 125 bucks for this fight. Is it worth it?
They still haven't released the PPV price point yet but I doubt it goes for the standard 64.95
Personally no I would not, but I'm gonna end up chipping in against my will, lol...I have several friends & family that are already on my ass about setting something up for it. I've told all of them that the whole thing is a f**king scam but they ain't having it; they're filthy f**king casuals and have already fell for this sh*t hook, line and sinker.
:pat:
Yes sir... It's all boxing when it comes down to it. All these people saying they won't pay for the fight or watch it at all better not be the first ones on here riding Mcgregor's d!ck if he gets lucky enough to land something of significance on Floyd.
Plus I want to see how Cotto deals with a guy who throws about 1000 punches a fight if I remember Kamegai correctly. Same guy who fought Robert Guerrero right?
Yeah, Kamegai was in that fight of the year candidate against Guerrero in 2014 and also the fight of the year candidate against Soto-Karass in 2016 in April before their rematch in September where Kamegai knocked Soto-Karass out.
Yeah man, I'm interested in watching the Mayweather-McGregor fight. Just not paying for it. I won't have to anyway luckily. Me and a couple of others are paying for food and beer, while everyone else is paying for the PPV, so I'm good. Lol
Regardless of whether people see it as a complete mismatch or a circus event, Wrestlemania, etc...
People are going to watch. Paulie Malignaggi said it best, When the circus comes to town what do people do, they watch. When there's a car wreck outside, as bad as it is or as bad as people say it is, when it happens, they watch. People stare and watch it.
Same thing with the Mayweather-McGregor fight. People can say what they want, that they are not going to watch it. Yes they will. They're going to watch it.
Yup, even though the fight matchups could be better competition wise with the star fighters. At least there are lots of fights for the evening to keep everyone entertained.

This is just a match I'm not willing to pay anything to watch. I support boxing and order most ppv's, but I can't even see myself paying $29.99 as much as I try to convince myself. This fight is a joke.
This right here..I'll have Cotto-Kamegai on the projection screen in the house and Mayweather-Mcgregor on the big screen outside. I got 15 people coming over bringing 10$ a head. Easy work as Floyd would say. :boxing:

why would anyone even watch this if it was free?
Unless the undercard is godo with acouple championship bouts no boxing fan should tune in, let alone pay for it.
Luckily I have some casual and MMA fans who are friends that are going to order the Mayweather-McGregor PPV. I told them I'll pay for the beer and food, Lol.
We're going to be watching both the Cotto-Kamegai and Mayweather-McGregor fights at the same time on two different TV's side by side. It should be an awesome night for entertainment.

i'm going to try and be disciplined and not buy this fight. and this is coming from a guy who bought floydd - berto and alvarez - chavez jr. gotta make a stand some time. didn't buy pacquiao - algieri, for instance.
Was thinking of going to Vegas and doing the closed circuit thing. I leave Korea a few days before the fight and it's the last fight i'll be able to experience since i'll be in Italy for the next 3 years
