Not that good and reminds me a lot of Winky Wright.
Think about it...
Haglers best win, Hearns...a guy that was way out of his weight (SSM). If Hearns was a natural Middleweight, Hagler would have been out like a light. Didn't Hearns have a weight issue for that fight anyway?
Duran started at what, 124? Hagler was losing going into the 13th. Barely won!
SRL, legit beat Hagler. Kinda of reminds me of how Williams did Winky. I've seen that fight 20x and being a New Englander I thought Hagler won until I got older and started competing. Once I knew how to score, Hagler loses every time.
Mugabi? Green, who cares!
The rest of those Hamsho type cats, nobody cares.
McCallum, I know he wasn't a mid but he sure as *****t would have met the weight and had a great shot.
Facts: Hagler just wasn't that good against guys his own size.
He never came back cuz he knew the jig was up.

That means that the world is filled with approximately 73% idiots, and its no surprise the boxing world is more than 80% idiots. I love red k. If I had high green k that would mean the 80% pool of idiots liked my work, thus that would make me an idiot which I'm not!

In 2003, over four-fifths (85 percent) of all adults 25 years or older reported they had completed at least high school or didn't complete high school but obtained a GED/high school equivalency cerficate. Over one in four adults (27 percent) had attained at least a bachelor's degree. Both of these measures are all time highs.

Hearns was a pro-offensive guy, dind't have much of a defense. For a chinny guy this was the danger, he kept his lead hand always low for a tall stylist. That was the only reason Hearns lost, also broke his hand on his skull. the outcome would be the same even at 7 lbs lower or higher weights.
Make sure Hagler climbed the ranks to earn a shot at the title and won it. Champs of the past are in majority deserved to be champions. He didn't have an Olympic background which took him to the top. Hagler was great.
Hearns vs Hagler at Welterweight, Hagler is sleeping deeply.
You a newborn ****in baby? Just because boxrec lists it doesn't make it true. Have you seen pictures of Hagler next to GGG? He's 5'8 tops and G himself is 5'9 tops.
I've stood in front of Hagler myself several x. GGG is 5'11"+ or have you not seen him in pictures next to Tyson who's 5'10"?
Something to consider (although I don't think it's true in Haglers case), men often get shorter as they get older. Marvin could have had badly herniated discs, etc.
You're really bad at this, why do you keep going? You've had your nuts kicked in so many times I'm starting to wonder if there was anything there to begin with?
No matter what, I've planted serious seeds of doubt in your mind. Over time, you'll notice that doubt growing and growing until you realize Hagler has a resume full of 8*'s.
You know I've not only presented the facts very well, but also on an academic level. You've done nothing but say ranked like 100x.
So then why do you have such a hard on for Hagler fighting McCallum?
Hagler doesn't need those guys to be an atg middleweight lmfao!!
I don't. Just saying that Hagler said he was avoided so hardcore to the point he had to fight bums with hardly any fights. Instead of doing that for chump change, why not take a challenge and fight a threat that's your own size?
Only idiots think's he an ATG. Truth is, he beat smaller guys coming up and the best of the bunch spanked him with a 3 year lay-off so hard-body that Marvin quit like a b1tch and fled to Italy. Dude was 33 and QUIT LIKE A B!TCH!!! He quit because the jog was up.
So I guess Winky Wright is an ATG too lmao.
Duran wasn't ranked, Hearns wasn't ranked, Leonard wasn't ranked. Polly want a cracker? Its like all you do is repeat the same fcuking thing post after post, caw he wasn't ranked --- caw! :pat:

Marvin Hagler was 5'9" and a half, wrong again! Not surprised though, you've been wrong the majority. He had options.

Where was Hagler going to go, 175? He wasn't a big 160 lbr to begin with! The man is like 5'7 or 5'8!!

You can do this with any fighter, minimize their strengths and highlight their weaknesses. Hagler is a legend and one of the greatest of all time, a man who worked all the way from the bottom earning hardly anything to the very top in a time where it was very difficult to do that, you've got to respect it. Whether you think he beat Leonard or not the man is an all time great (I had him winning).
Legend based on what? Fought a ton of bums. Beat up smaller guys coming up and losing to a smaller guy legitimately that was out of the game for an unprecedented 3 fcuking years rofl?
If you think Hagler beat SRL, you don't know how to score boxing.
I agree McCallum was a great fighter but to say that Hagler ducked him when he wasn't even ranked at Middleweight is ludicrous.

The more i study certain boxers or at least try to read up on older fighters resume seeing them who they struggled against, some of the opponents they fought and the records of there opponents and what they did or who they beat it seems there legend is more then what certain fighters actually were.
It seems older fighters always are invincible when making fantasy fight because of there legend status, but we dont how they would do vs fighters now or how there opponents would do against fighters in this generation.
Put fighters like Floyd, Pac, Oscar, Canelo vs legends in there weight class or GGG vs Hagler some people would lose there mind.
Wonder in the future when were all old how they the fighters at that time will be looked at compered to are fighters.
I had him winning too, but I think he loss the fight on the negotiation table. He got paid for those last three rounds. Remember the fight was agreed at 12 rounds not 15 rounds. I think he got two or three millions for those three rounds.
This is true it was definitely a mistake on his part, SRL was clever though because he made Hagler think he had to do that for the fight to happen. Marvin did better as the fight went on so I definitely think the extra rounds would've helped him, at the same time it is true that "the power's that be" wanted Leonard to win. To this day I still think Hagler is the greater fighter, Ray even admits in his book that he didn't want to fight him until he saw him decline. Both are legends though.
I will go to my grave remembering Hagler as a great middleweight. You can always hand pick one fight to discredit a great fighter. Duran gave him a harder fight than expected but Hagler would have beaten him easier in a rematch. If you want to make Duran look bad hand pick his fight with Hearns. If you want to make Leonard look bad hand pick his KO loss to Camacho. If you want to make Sugar Ray Robinson look bad hand pick his loss to unranked Ralph Jones. Hagler only needed 3 rounds to beat Hearns and I thought he beat Leonard as did about half the fans who saw the fight. There was a reason Leonard refused to give Hagler a rematch. Hagler was deadly in rematches. He had a few rematches and he always won them much quicker and easier than the first fight.Hagler had a lot of wear and tear on him by the time he fought Leonard because Hagler was a real fighting champion. He went to war against all the very best middleweights 4 times a year. What champion other than Hagler defends their title 4 times a year against the best and highest ranked challengers? Nobody. Hagler was a special champion and a great warrior who gave all the top contenders a shot at his title.
Yes. Insert a slow clap gif here.
