Quillin could have defended against Korobov for decent money and remained active instead of taking a long layoff. He hasn't been a title holder since he vacated his belt.

I remember when Quillin was a prospect. He showed some good stuff and everyone took him seriously. As soon as he won a belt, he had it in his head that all the hard work should be over. He turned into a different fighter overnight in a bad way.

I was watching that counterpunch docu last night and this is the thing about Quillin. He loves being a boxer but he doesn't love actually boxing. He's talented but he's not into the sport.
