Why Is Ward An Intelligent Fighter When His Strongest Attributes Are Illegal?

Of all these posters, i cant believe only Headshot understands what he is watching. Smh I bet you guys never boxed before Headshot never mentioned anything about Ward's lateral/head movement and his ability to make Kovalev miss with almost every straight right. All I'm reading are bull**** excuses from him instead of giving Ward credit for his defensive skills and body punching (most of which was clean and legal). Thanks for contributing to the anti-Ward agenda though.

Kowardlev fought as dirty or even dirtier than ward. All that rabit punches, headlocks, gloves covering ward's mouth, low blows (yes, he threw lowblows too)... and... all that faking he did to trick the referee (dishonourable little scared girl, this kowardlev, when he's the one getting the punches). So you better deal with the result. That coward lost the fight. He can try to make his living by playing soccer, I heard his faking skills are very well appreciated in this sport.

On impact Ward's glove is hitting the top belt line as shown by the red arrow. It also covers the "Krusher" logo which is obstructed by kovalev's arm. 3. The body shock ripple effect happens when Ward's glove hits the top beltline, after crushing the hublot air pocket. You can clearly see Ward's glove hitting the belt line as shown by the red arrow. First the Hublot air pocket gets crushed without any impact damage. Then Kovalev's body absorbs the impact when Ward's glove crashes into his belt. That's a borderline shot. All legal blows debate over. Accept reality and admit Kovalev got his ass kicked.

Just let it go man! Kov just doesnt have it in him to get dirty like Ward or even dirtier! To beat him, you have to be consistent and have great conditioning and be well rounded, Kov just isn't well rounded enough and gases in a half of a fight if he fights at a higher pace! Everyone knows Ward does illegal tactics but you must give it back to him! Kov should've been throwing lead rights to the crown jewels and then come with a headbutt but make it look like he throwing a strong straight left while leaning in! Only one fighter I've see give Ward a taste of his own medicine and that was Sakio Bika and MAN, Ward is a nastyyyyy boxer in that ring! He is undefeated in 20 years with top notch opponents both amateur & professional. He just defeated the current "boogeyman of boxing" and made him quit by sitting on the ropes and waiting for the ref to save him. What the OP thinks is "dirty tactics" is being confused with "winning ways"! This is "punch for pay" where the big boys roam, if you want boxing by the rule book go watch amateur boxing! Koval was the one initiating the holding when Ward got under him he also used head locks to stop the inside work. You see he did what he had to do because he is a very limited talent. He didn't know how to counter Wards ducking so he froze and grabbed. He is a typical Euro stand up boxer who looks good in the gym but when the bell rings he becomes a straight jab'straight right hand puncher. The guy has never fought anyone really good.....Pascal?
