None of the people here are doctors, so we won't know the physical part of it. Does fracturing the eye socket makes the other more susceptible? Does yoyoing in weight like that kill your gas tank? We don't know. But from an outsiders perspective, it sure looks like brook should have taken a tune up in between fights, even just to help mentally. Now he's on a 2 fight losing streak with 2 fractured eye sockets. Could be end of career.

Oh, I get it now. Deluded GGG fans were on Brook's jock because they wanted to make the win GGG had over Brook look like a decent win. It wasn't a good win at 160, and now we know that Brook has the facial structure of a China doll. This whole rooting for the vanquished opponents of your favorite fighter is getting old quickly.

The only thing I'm surprised about after the GGG fight, is that he didnt quit this fight earlier.

Honestly speaking it does, not from a physical standpoint but from a mental point. An undefeated Brook would have lost a decision instead of taking a knee and getting stopped. Brooks gas tank at 147 is not infallible and Spence's dedication to the body means he'd probably beat the best version of Brook. Good post. I also believe it affected him mentally.
