All I've been seeing is Brook being labelled a quitter or not as good as everyone made out. However, I feel completely the opposite and I've gained more respect for him than ever before. He hung in there and despite being in visible distress he fought back and gave it his all. I predicted Spence to walk him down and pound the body for a late stoppage which is exactly what happened but Kell was game as ever and I would favour him against almost every other WW. Let him have a well deserved break and we'll see what's next. And anyone labelling him a quitter, he could have gone blind and in the harsh fickle world of boxing, these fans won't be there for you or paying your bills after you retire. Kell wants to see his kids grow up, he was way too far behind on the scorecards and Spence wasn't slowing down. He could have gone out on his shield but I won't begrudge his decision at all. Congrats to my man Errol Spence! Imo the best fighter at 147 and I am glad to say I've called him special for a while now :boxing:
At the end of the day, Kell Brook has to look after himself. Fans aren't going to take care of him down the line when he retires (which may be now, or soon enough anyways). I can bash him for not giving it all, but deep down I can acknowledge that he's done far more than 99.9% of the human population ever will. If Kell Brook is a quitter, he was still a world champion. Nobody can ever take away that fact. Boxers get in the ring and put their mental health and eyesight on the line every day where someone could end up comatose for the remainder of their life. I don't fault his decision to look after his health/vision if he felt it was in grave danger.
Gotta look after yourself & your family, first and foremost. Because once you lose, "fans" will turn their backs on you and forget you ever existed.
I heard this when Brooks corner threw in the towel vs. Gaynady now hes getting more respect for taking a knee ; at this rate Kell Brook might only train for four rounds and sell you morons PPV vs. the next euro-bum of the month. These Brits are something else OMG.
Lol all hypocrites on here.
Brook is a quitter thus why his own fans booed him. Back to back quits lol the man's career is almost dead even before it could get fully started
Nothing new. We live in a fickle boxing world. Guy gets a solid win and can't get credit he deserves, and a good fighter takes a loss and suddenly he is a hype job, coward, or bum.
Show me where you predicted Spence would win WITHOUT AN EDIT.
I'll wait....
I've tweeted it several times leading up to this week. How do I post screenshots on here?
Eh... that eye was fucced up. Probably a good idea since he knows what kind of surgery he's in for. I'd be wanting to fight Spence too if i was Thurman. Brook showed some of Spence's flaws.
Man this is professional boxing can't be quitting like that in the biggest fight of your life at home in front of 27000. That's just something you cannot do.
Kell Brook is a coward.

That eye injury he has looks as though it could be a career ender. He can only move up in weight where the punches hit harder and he will always be thinking about losing his vision. Massive credit to Spence Jr, guys a marksman. Super impressed with how accurate his punches are.
Kell was giving Spence the business for a few rounds. I think some people are bashing him just to discredit Spence while others don't realize that's what they're doing. Spence had his hands full.
Truth right here! So rare in this sh1thole that I might even screenshot it. Can I get an autograph lol.
I agree! A man has to know when he has reached his limits. I wouldn't call a man who put up such a spirited effort as Kell Brook a quitter. A call him a warrior because he put up a good fight. He was competitive and was actually trying to win the fight. He didn't just lay down and hand his title over to Errol Spence. No, he forced Errol to bite down and dig deep in order to take that title away from him. It was just Spence wanted it more that's all. He simply overpowered Brook.
