If you're in a situation in which you're on the wrong end of a beatdown, would you rather go for broke and go out on your shield,or do you throw in the towel and live to fight another day? Personally I'd stick through to the bitter end, because I've noticed a pattern that once a fighter quits, they tend to quit easier the next time, and there's no erasing the label of being a quitter. On the other hand,if you get stopped, you could be seen as a warrior, and salvage some respect. Thoughts?
Mayweather fought Castillo with a torn shoulder. Ali finished his fight with Norton with a broken jaw. The greats persevere through injuries to transcend and become legends. Even Wilder fought with a torn bicep and broken hand for his hometown fans. I respect Brook for taking the Spence fight after that vicious beating he took from GGG but he quit like a *****. He's a quitter. Say what you want about Khan but he takes his ass whoopings like a man, always goes out his on back and not on his feet.
And Israel Vasquez had his right eye removed. Next?
Look at these 2 blatant lying scumbags.
Khan's been out cold once in 35 fights and according to these liars ''he's usually out cold''.
Lying scumbags. He's usually knocked down on the regular but he always gets back up when he's conscious, be it on jelly legs and always fights back. Against Garcia he was barely able to stand upright but he was fighting back to the very last second. Against Prescott he got up twice and never quit. The only time in his 35 fight career he didn't get up was against Canelo, the ONE time he was out cold and these lying scumbags try and lie to make it seem as if that happens ''usually''.
Be men and look at things objectively and fair instead of being cowardly rats and just following the crowd on here to look cool by hating on Khan and making up blatant lies you weasels. No ones saying Khan is the greatest of all time, we know what he is but at least don't make up lies to criticize him, especially when there's enough out there to for him to be criticized for without making up lies.
I'm the first to criticise Khan for the many many things he does/says wrong on the regular, but one thing that can never be questioned about Khan is his heart. Never has he shown to lack heart inside the ring and for these two lying scumbags to try and insinuate that just shows what sort of cowardly weak men they must be.
Oh cmon, how could you even support that delusional prick. He's just getting what he's always been giving. If he runs his mouth without anything to back it up, then he'll get the same treatment. And as for what we've said it's not even the worst judgment if we compare it to his perfomances.
Acts like he's on the same level with pacquiao and floyd, then falls on his back regularly. We may have not seen him quit yet, or ever but the way he handles himself is worse than that.
And after all that's happened in his career, not a single point was he able to grasp reality or be humbled.
Hence, boxing fans, want him to be flattened even more we don't even care who does it.
And Oh wait, he wants brook now.
Everyone wants to believe they would hang in there and go out on their shield. Most have never stepped foot in a ring let alone been in with a world class fighter.
Exactly.
I'm under no illusions.
Scenarios I'd quit under:
Double vision, an increase of cobwebs or shadows in field of vision, hearing loss, headache, broken jaw, tingling or numbness, difficulty understanding speech, weakness in arm or leg, nausea and vomiting, loss of coordination and balance, light-headedness, breathlessness.
dislocated shoulder, dislocated knee, broken ankle, badly broken nose coupled with respiratory distress.
And many, many more.
Before you can think of whether you'd quit you have to think of symptoms of cardiovascular, neurological issues that might actually kill you and orthopaedic issues.
I am sure there are world class fighters who will fight past that point. But let's not pretend they're normal.
They aren't.
They are freaks of nature.
But who knows maybe NSB houses some of the toughest men in the free world? I doubt it.

Not really you weasel, that's only ever happened once, but continue following the crowd on here like the weasel that you are just to fit in, you weak coward.
There's been many, many times when Khan could have quit, yet he didn't and fought on like the warrior he is. Yet crowd following weasels like you take the one time out of 35 fights he was unconscious and try and use it to take the credit away from him.
Oh stfu you crybaby

Yep, different when you're taking shots from a real person
Khan is correct. Brook quit. He took a knee and he quit. What else would you call it??????? If GGG did the same thing you would start ten thousand threads calling GGG a quitter. His eye was open, not closed shut. He could see but he didn't want to get beat up anymore. His trainer quit for him against GGG but Brook quit all by himself this time. Khan has a weak chin but he is no quitter and he would never quit standing up the way Brook did.
That's because Khan is unconscious and isn't able to quit.
Boxing is a sport, to fight when you're getting your ass kicked or injured is selfish to your family. Why keep going when things aren't going to happen for you? So people like some of the losers on forums can say you were brave? Oh wow, real badge of honor there.
There's a difference between quitting like Walters quit, when you're perfectly fine but know you won't win, and quitting when your life is on the line. He just got eye surgery on the left eye, and he couldn't see out of the right one in this fight. That's some scary sh1t. People calling him a quitter are imbeciles with an agenda, in this case either nationalistic morons or Golovkin haters who think that by hating on brook they hate on Golovkin.
There are very few true boxing fans on the site.
Everyone wants to believe they would hang in there and go out on their shield. Most have never stepped foot in a ring let alone been in with a world class fighter.
Exactly. The guy legit had a chance of doing permanent damage to that eye but these internet warriors are upset he didn't continue. It's ****ing sad, Kell is a warrior.
I would let a doctor look at me and pretend I can't continue and then act like I'm really angry that they stopped the fight.
Awesome that's the way I'd go. Look at this way. Walters will forever be known as a quitter.
Everyone wants to believe they would hang in there and go out on their shield. Most have never stepped foot in a ring let alone been in with a world class fighter.
I think Kell quit in this context and this should held against his legacy. I'm sorry but if you quit in a fight it's because you think you think there are some life threatning effects in which case you get yourself down to the hospital asap (fu**k a post fight interview)

Khan doesn't go to the "should i quit part" he usually goes directly to sleep. He doesn't have that choice so wrong example here.
Now what you're gonna cite maidana fights? That was like 10 years ago and was before he started his diva moves.
Spence KOs khan around 2-5 rounds.
Its best we ask Khan. Cause now Khan is trolling Brook as a quitter...Khan is correct. Brook quit. He took a knee and he quit. What else would you call it??????? If GGG did the same thing you would start ten thousand threads calling GGG a quitter. His eye was open, not closed shut. He could see but he didn't want to get beat up anymore. I'd rather see my favorite fighters fight to the end. Champion boxers are held to a much higher standard of gameness than the average guy. I am not a pro boxer. I would quit just like Brook did.
At the risk of losing your sight the smart decision is to quit, Brook went for one last rally after the first KD and that was it, he didn't get spence out of there & that's when he knew it was over
I would rather quit but I don't think I'd see it as an option in the sense that I would feel forced to continue. This isn't me trying to say I have more heart than a professional fighter because I don't.
They have the courage to get in the ring and place themselves in that position, I don't.
