George was robbed in the first fight with Froch the fight was stopped immaturely. The ref was a joke if the ref applied the same logic to Froch as Groves he should of stopped the fight in the 2nd when Froch was out but he was allowed to carry on and George was not in as much trouble as Froch was. I believe George would of got through the round and probably gone on to win on late stoppage or UD but the ref has taken that away from us. The 2nd went to Froch because the ref let the fight take its natural course but those punches do happen but now Froch still shows no dignity towards Groves but thats no surprise as his a ignorant person as his attitude showd towards Calzaghe proves it. I still think a rematch with Jack could be back on now that Groves has a belt so lets see.
froch dominated the last 2 rounds so groves winning by stoppage is pretty far-fetched.
Froch got lucky in both fights and Groves was outboxing him before the ko blow, so I understand why George feels that way.
A third fight would have been best to remove all doubt.

I think Groves might be the best at super middle. I don't see what's delusional about what he said, he had a close fight with Badou Jack and could legit ask for a rematch imo. He also lost unfairly to Froch so has a right to think that they're even.
I remember Froch saying he could beat Ward in a rematch after he got absolutely schooled by him, so why can't Groves say the same?
I along with most had him ahead in both Froch fights before the stoppages which were more due to Froch being a terrific fighter than Groves being bad. I still rate Groves highly and imo he's the best in britain right now ahead of Degale who I've gone off lately. However, I'd love to see Eubank fight any of them.

Feeling he is better is his right though he is not better than these guys. Groves is not really all that and has the wrong type of body. If he could make weight at a lower weight maybe he would be elite.
Technically yes. But he's weak mentally... too feeble and not smart enough. He will outbox Chudinov for a while, then will fall apart, but will still get the decision because well... it's in England.
you just dont say you are better than someone, even if you believe it, when you got stopped twice vs them, especially if that person is retired.
just reeks of delusion and arrogance and a lack of respect and humility towards the fighters who fairly beat you.
I suppose but boxing is a fairly simple sport.
Groves had some pretty deadly weapons which seemed to have disappeared.
I agree with Vinnykin he is/was a world class fighter.
not unless you have a right hand your not.
Bring back the right hand, George.
I actually don't think he is chatting s.hit. If I was George Groves I might have believed I was better than both of those two as well.
... That was a nice one!!! :)...
(green k sent...)

Groves is the better "boxer" no doubt. Better jab, movement and technical ability than both Froch and Jack.
However! The things he was lacking in the Froch fights were experience and stamina. I thought the first fight was a boxing lesson for Froch, helped out big time by Howard Foster and the rematch was rightly ordered. He was boxing well until the Ko punch but no excuses there.
People seem to forget that Groves was green as **** for the Froch fights and had changed trainers. He needed more experience before a fight like Froch who is one of the toughest and fittest boxers around. You need to be special to beat him like Ward did, but even Froch was coming on strong in those last rounds and could have went longer.
Groves is world class and always has been. He just needed the right environement and trainer to shine. He took the Froch fight too early as he thought he could outbox him, which he did in both fights Imo. That doesn't always win fights though.
Everyone doggin on groves i think hes thr best smw an think he beat jack and froch got gifted that first fight think he steals the show tonight with a lacy type beat down to become the NEW smw champ of the world
You're wrong then.
Groves thinks he's gifted. A bit like khan
Khan was beating the stuffing out of Garcia and poresscot and nelo until he got caught by a lucky once in a lifetime punch
