Excellent fighter, has all the tools to reach greatness, from the skillset to the power to the chin and grit, he can fight when he has to he can box when he has to, switch hitter, always in shape, great stamina, I really don't see flaws in him as of right now. All he needs are the right opponents to reach that great status but unfortunately his division is not doing so well right now, the only good name at the weight is Broner, Indongo is also good but nothing special.
I think moving up to 147 in a couple of fights is the right step for his career but a much more important step would be him leaving Arum to be able to mix it up with the big guys at 147, hopefully he does what's right for us and for his career.
I think a danny Garcia fight at WW would make the most sense for his first fight there. If he wins that would make a lot of noise. Plus he'd get paid well.
Former 140 lb champs.
Knew he was good, but wasn't totally sold on him until last night. He is the goods and has it all! Feliz Diaz is, no joke, an excellent fighter yet Crawford intelligently out boxed him with every move and punch in the book and viciously beat the crap out of him! P4P he's in the top five and may even be #1.
So many P4P guys in the mix now its hard to have a proper list. I have Kovalev as number 1. Everything beyond ghat is up for debate.
How do you seperate Loma Crawford, GGG and Joshua. What about Inoue? Then theres Thurman too. The P4p list should read "In no particular order" impossible to grade them.
Excellent fighter and i hope he goes to 147. There's not much for him at 140 in terms of great fights but he would be a great addition to 147 for the fans if the right fights there get made.
