He beats thurman. Just too much iq for thurman. Spence brooke is a toss up.
Yeah, that fight would be like Hearns Vs Duran with Crawford stopping him in the 4th.
It isn't that I think Bud is anything less than great.
But, there are some great guys at 147 to.
Guy who have been fighting at the higher weight and who can crack.
That is a lot different than mollywhopping the Victor Postols of the world
Dude is destroying a natural welter right now. Spence, Brook, Thurman, and Porter get stopped. You need to wait to see how he takes a huge right hand from a guy with power at 147. Diaz barely had a 50% KO ratio at 140 and the much smaller Gamboa rattled Crawford big time. Lets see what happens if he gets hit flush on the chin by Thurman or Kell Brook or a body shot from Spence and then see.
I honestly don't see him beating any of the top welters. Maybe Berto if you still consider him a top welter but that's it. And I honestly don't get why people are so impressed with Crawford, he's fought nothing but soft title holders and garbage.
Crawford is like GGG. Fantastic fighter, but happy to be a coward and sit at a weight with no competition whatsoever rather than step up and test himself.
crawford is 29 on his second weight class, he is not into 36 year old camping at middleweight ggg territory just yet.

He just had his best win, and YES, he looked impressive.
But, for as good at what he does, simply had no answer for the length of Crawford from the SP stance.
Im sure they prepared for both SP and Ortho, but there just isn't any way to know if the adjustments would be correct for Crawfords style.
Yes, Crawford looked great, but remember that Diaz best fight was fighting even with Peterson, who fought exclusively from Ortho, and didnt have the power to keep Diaz at length.
There are still very viable challenges for Crawford at 140, Garcia, Mathysee, and love him or hate him, Broner would be his finest win as well.
As for 147......Brooks moving N to 154 win or lose, outside a guaranteed fight with Khan, and depending on how Spence beats Brook, should it come thru, Spence might be damn near unstoppable.
And lets not forget that Thurman is STILL the man to beat at 147. And I don't know if you could simply come out of a win over Diaz thinking Crawford beats him.
WTF are you talking about? Diaz was a midget without power, there's a reason Crawford is draining himself to fight these midgets instead of fighting at 147 where all the big fights are. He couldnt even knock out Postol.
I agree don't get me wrong he is good but so far he is fighting smaller guys did anybody really think Diaz had a chance. I was not impress at all he has some flaws that will cost him when he fights guys his own size
Dude is destroying a natural welter right now. Spence, Brook, Thurman, and Porter get stopped.
Brook won't be at 147 by the time Bud arrives. He'll be a 154'er.

But Crawford has an excuse. He's trying to become undisputed.
Were we watching the same fight dude have 9 ko Crawford won't do the same with top welterweight that can punch back with him and Crawford won't be able to bully his weight again and again dude needs to step it up big time
Not yet, but we seem to have several fighters I believe are currently a level above the competition in their weightclasses but close enough to each other to mix it up.
These fighters in mind are Loma, M. Garcia, Crawford, and maybe even Spence, but first I need to see how he handles Brook. It's kind of tough though because with all these fighters in different weight classes, some of them might be at a disadvantage by moving up or down to make those interesting matchups happen.

In what world is Diaz a natural welterweight? The man won his Olympic gold medal at 141lbs (at 24 years of age) and is openly listed as being all of 5'5" tall.
be real
