When you see them side by side it's clear to see Brook is the much more fluid, faster fighter with superior technique.
What do you think?
And from today:
I preferred spence's work here. I didnt watch the entire 10 minutes (about 4) but spence looks more secure and strong (if not a little tight, but they'll likely work on peaking his speed for fight night) while brook looked a little too loose and his punches more to be fast butvwithout the weight behind them. Plus spence was working for the large majority of the 4 minutes I saw so it looks like they are preparing really well and training to be busy. Spence's trainer was also moving around more to simulate more accurately and making spence be actively aware of punches coming back. These videos just put me leaning towards a spence victory due to a seemingly better corner.
Got a longer vid of brook?
Spence looked a little slow and stiff. Brook looked more fluid and natural.
Naw man, I thought that was hilarious... did you not notice the 'Unbreakable' poster with Kell's face on in the background?

Ironic.
I wonder if it's really unbreakable now. Lol
I was kinda disappointed you provided us an old video of Brook actually. Lol

Spence is a good fighter, but Brook is better in every department more or less.
I agree Brook has better overall skills. I just think Spence having more power, a better inside game, and great body work could be the difference maker why I'm leaning towards him. Styles make fights and I'm leaning slightly towards spence as I said. May the best man win I say I'm cheering for Spence and win or lose I'll still respect the guy, but I won't downplay the win for Brook with a "he's too green" claim. To me whoever wins they get the full credit because it's two of the best at 147 going at it.
Brook looks better, obviously more seasoned
Spence is still growing and learning
They have different techniques, Spence inside game could make all the difference
This is a huge test for Spence, probably too early, but he may rise to the occasion like Jousha did against Wlad
Brook looks healthy, but we'll see how he looks on the scales
Hope this turns out to be a classic
Didn't really need to see them on pads.
Brook is more fluid, has better punch delivery and variety, has better hand speed, better footwork, better timing and is generally sharper.
this shows exactly what you would expect. Spence a pressure fighter with heavy hands is naturally going to be slower but better punching technique than the Brooke who's quick and throws flurries
But he clearly does not have better punching technique by any stretch of the imagination.

Brook looks more fluid and athletic and light on his feet while Spence Jr STANDS on his Punches so you hear way more POP in Spence Jr Pad Work
Both looks sharp though!
We find out next week who is better in that RING!
It's hard to say, you got different looks from Spence. Brook in the recent instagram video was throwing very similar looks over and over while moving. I do favor spence in this fight btw, make no mistake....but from what I've seen from both I'm putting it 55/45.

Brook looks considerably more fluid and refined but I rate Spence extremely highly and have done for a while. I think Brook beats everyone at Welter but sadly not Spence. Styles make fights and I think Errol is gonna beat him down at points and win a UD.
not really...people work each differently and for different reasons
^this.
I remember someone on the forum here posting up a vid of Brook "smashing" the pads with lightning speed and thunderous strength before the Golovkin fight. All that brilliant pad work didn't stop the guy from suffering a brutal defeat and getting a GD titanium plate installed in his face to hold it together.
It looked that way but its also worth noting that their fight strategies are different... Brook is clearly working on a stick and move strategy and so needs to work on being quick and fluid, Spence is working on a pressuring strategy... Its clear from his pad work that they are working on his power shots while being in position and planted.
All in all its great to see both guys looking good, Next weekend needs to get here already!!
Excellent post!
Brook's technique looks far superior.

Like stated earlier it looked more like Kell is going to try to outbox from the outside and move around, while Spence is hitting the pads as someone looking to apply pressure and land power.
Brook's technique looks far superior.
