Oh C'mon dude.
Golovkin's the best body puncher in the game. Golovkin stopped Lemiuex on body shots. Murray with bodyshots(set up the stoppage). Brook with bodyshots(set up the stoppage). Macklin with bodyshots.
Canelo has Liam Smith. and that's it.
Golovkin's bodywork forces stoppages.
Seems to have more hand speed, and better upper body lateral movement/cor-ordination (But that is about it!). Golovkin's footwork is probably better than Canelo's, and they are EVEN in their combination punching ability! The only difference being the share speed at which Canelo can launch combinations! For me the only way Canelo can win up against Golovkin is by going to the body hard! (Canelo is probably the best body puncher in the game since Ricky Hatton! But then again? Golovkin is also a immense body puncher when it he wants to be!).....
It is a very tough fight for Canelo, because i just don't think Golovkin will be bothered by his power one little bit! And i don't think Canelo is as physical Durable at 160! He has to pack loads of muscle on in order to campaign at 160, his actual bone structure/density is not of a fully fledged middle weight! (This is one of the major reasons as to why Kell Brook's bones literally gave away up against Golovkin! his bone structure and density was not accustomed to fighting a powerfull middle-weight! Any body can gain muscle mass, but it takes longer for your bone structure, tendons/ligaments to adapt to the extra weight gained etc)...
Im a canelo fan and this is what worries me.
correct.
Jacobs was throwing uppercuts all night thinking that's the opening that Brook showed.
how many flush uppercuts did GGG eat?
I honestly dont think that most canelo fans realize how skilled GGG really is. To the untrained eye he can seem basic but he is very skilled.

GGG has a better jab and footwork and has solid fundamentals/balance.
Canelo has better head/upper body movement and is superior when throwing combinations.
Very different styles but both are very skilled in their own ways
Go watch Degeale and Rosado fights and see how GGG rolls with his shoulder, ducks under, smothers, blocks with arms, head control with his lead hand and pivots and doesn't get hit. Sometimes he really gets hit on purpose I think by standing there. Esp in his last 2 fights.
His offence to Defence transition is realy bad in all fights.
If it's a myth it was started by Golovkin. He told you himself he let people hit him on purpose.
His defense isn't that good but even worst is his transition between offense and defense. He literally stops punching and back up till it's safe to start his offense again.

Golovkin has more skills, but more doesnt mean better. Golovkin does have a better jab and footwork, canelo is skilled himself, mainly with feints but his main asset is his speed which lends to a more flashier style and also contributes to his upperbody movement. Shame about his feet.
Golovkin is more skilled.
and he has more power.
and he has the proven chin at 160.

This fight will be exciting, canelo always starts out fast, golovkin will likely be more defensive, just jabbing the first and second rd until he sees a lapse in canelo and pounces (if he doesnt have a sht gameplan)
