You people are legit retarded. These are huge, colossal men and huge punchers landing flush power shots on one another's chin - how the f*ck do you want them to react? It's not f*cking Rocky, ffs.
He doesn't have an iron chin like say a George Foreman or a Mike Tyson, but not many do. I agree with those that pointed out HW is different. Clean punches often rock people or KO them outright.
Haha.
If anything this fight proved he has a very good chin. I don't remember fighters getting up after AJ put them down. Wlad got up every single time. Nothing wrong with his chin and definitely nothing wrong with AJ power.
That's because Joshua was exhausted when he landed those shots and they weren't as clean as he landed on other fighters.
Sometimes I wonder if people even know wtf they're watching.
:pat:
I think his chin has always been better than people gave him credit for. The losses to Purrity and Brewster were about him gassing, Sanders took a lot of shots to finish him as did Joshua and he got up from big Peter shots and came back to win that fight. I'm not saying he has an iron chin, but he's a tougher guy than people have given him credit for
Preach....
Some of he comments tonight make me think some people have no idea about heavyweights or are just plain illogical.
These aren't welterweights ffs.
Glass chin? F.uck right off. Wlad got banjo'd multiple times by a powerful 250 pound man. Joshua got it too from a 240 pound puncher.
You can't talk about glass in the heavyweights for me.
Michael Grant

I agreed.
Also the way Wlad looks really flustered once he gets hit often makes it seem he's a bit more hurt than he might be.
He doesn't have a glass chin at all, but as you say, it's not iron either. Haye is similar, people say he's chinny but he's never actually been iced or anything. His two stoppage losses were stamina and injury problems. Any other time he was dropped, he got back up. He took plenty of good shots in his career like Wlad has.

A glass chin? The man went 11 years without a KD (as far as I can remember), how all of a sudden he's has a glass?
This is one of those backwards way of discrediting Joshua.
Next we'll be hearing Wlad was wheeled into the ring straight from the old folks home.
It's been proven multiple times Wlad doesn't have a great chin, but anyone who takes the uppercut he did in the 11th and stays on his feet does not have a glass chin. That was murderous.

Jousha went down very easily, almost like how Lennox dropped Michael Grant
if Wlad was about 5 or 6 years younger he would have finished Jousha
Jousha was gone, took him at least 3 rounds to get his bearings back
Down easily? That right Head was timed perfectly on the button, it would of done
For most HW's. AJ smartly headed for the canvas, I think he could of tried to stay on his feet, he would of taken that left hook and that would of been the end. Smart boxing.
But he got through it and came back stronger, that's what it's all about.
This fight confirmed it: Wlad has a glass jaw. He went down 3 times. He also went down against Sanders, Brewster, and Purrity.
If Wlad has a glass chin, does that mean everyone who faced AJ before him has a...fresh air chin?
The dude took some bombs and kept coming back.
B*tches will do anything to confirm their pre-existing bias these days.
He took some hard shots tonight.
That said, i don't think AJ is a sickening puncher. He obviously hits very hards but a lot of his knockouts were ref's jumping in or combinations. You don't really see him put people to sleep like Wilder does. It's a different kind of power but still does damage.

Wladimir should have taken him out there.
He spent too much time following up with his lead left hooks that kept missing.
Joshua's eyes went all over when he got hit by the right hand that dropped him.
Crazy that he was able to get up and recover.
I think Joshua was more hurt when he was knocked down then Wladimir was on any of the three times he was knocked down.
