All brook did was shift lateraly the entire fight and throw the jab and straight right...He had the size advantage but that strategy seemed to throw Porter off completely.
Why try and engage with such a dirty fighter? For example, I think Thurman could win every single round if he would just box and move, land power shots when they are wide open.
It's not like Brook had an easy time of it. He played to his strengths and fought like hell to get that W. You can't ask another fighter to do what Brook does well. The fighter has to play to his own advantages. Berto was winning most of the exchanges in which he listened to his corner and boxed him in the middle. Berto didn't listen enough though (nor did Porter allow him to keep it in the center) and got mauled.
Thurman won as well, using a completely different strategy than Brook, but you can't expect another fighter to fight like that either.
Brook should have been penalized for holding.
A lot.
To Thurman's credit, he made things with Porter a lot more exciting while beating Shawn much more decisively.
Berto's biggest mistake is not staying in the middle of the ring.
You know you are getting into a wrestling match with Porter but you should never willingly back into the ropes.
But, Berto had no legs...
The problem is that Porter doesn't get fined by refs for diving in with the head, the guy uses his head like that big dragon head carved door cracking thing that orcs used when trying to penetrate the doors of Minastrith.
Yeah why can't everyone do it like Brook?
Boxing is so easy...................when you've never been in a ring with gloves on with..................Porter? hahahahaha...
Should be as great as Sugarman in about 5 weeks!! :boxing:
Ray
Brook is strong as f*ck at 147.
That's the first time Porter grabbed someone, tried to push him to the ropes and couldn't budge him. Brook was stronger than him which nullified his dirty 'inside fighting' and left him with nothing.
Nullify him inside, box his ears off outside. I had that fight 117-111 Brook, Porter landed nothing.

Brook has a good punch and he locked porter up when porter came rushing in like a bull. Berto has no jab, he didn't use the uppercut early in the fight and he couldn't handle the head buts...
Lol and why don't I follow Steve Jobs' blue print and become a millionaire? Not everyone has the attributes that Brook has, he's a strong mother****er who out muscled Porter, I don't think many people can do that.
