I thought 'whoah... Koba giving it to them with both barrels' until i realized a level headed bloke like yourself would only talk like that when joking.
;) I liked the Leopard / Lion angle of pointing out the utter foolishness of people getting bent out of shape about P4P and just thought I'd run with it. A little parody's appropriate sometimes... some of these guys. smh.
its so politicized and favors certain guys more than others. mosley was crap for years and then he clinched marg to death and beat him and they put him at #3 even though marg himself was only #6..hmmm ok.
rungvasai beats roman and hes nowhere near the p4p list...maybe because it was controversial decision but then how do you explain ward being moved up when his fight was ten times worse?
take a look at floyds resume when they had him at p4p #2....genaro, manfredy and justin juuko...really? that was a you fight on hbo and we know who you are rating. then look at pac who was lineal champ at 112 and beat one of the best fighters at 122...wasnt even in the top 10 after that. so that proves its certainly not about resume.
its just people guessing and playing fantasy boxing. there is no rhyme or reason. adrien broner was p4p #6. are you really going to take this list seriously?
You and your whining about Manny is beyond comical, as is your pure disgust for Floyd because he BEAT your hero. You can never get it back either! Ahahahahaha!
The p4p list is not about necessarily beating other p4p fights as much as just the mythical match up of based on the skill fighter A,B,C, etc has and how those who make up these fights, how THEY believe a fighter would do vs another in various weight classes. Come on Larry, you know this already bro.

Guys just have to find a way to mention this guy bwahahaha
Corrales was ranked higher than Floyd p4p by ring magazine and was the betting favorite
Hatton was lineal champ @ 140 and former WBA ww titlist before facing Floyd.....also in everyone's top ten P4p
Although smaller, JMM was top 3 p4p at the time they fought
Manny was in the top ten p4p when they fought....so was Mosley until they fought
Come on bro....Floyd proved himself and his resume embarrasses every active guy today, not named Manny
Sorry bud, i caught ya. I was trolling trying to catch a larry but got 2 smaller fish instead.
You fucking casuals make me sick.
1 Least Weasel

talent and ability has to be proven against other elite fighters man
Agree. You think it's not possible to have elite competition unless the opponent is top 10 p4p?
Because it ain't ALL about resume dude, how many times and in how many different ways does the same question need to be answered lol....
So you dont have to prove yourself against other elite fighters to be p4p?
Talent and ability. You don't need to fight boxers on a flawed mythical ranking system to have top notch competition that validates your worth at the elite level.
talent and ability has to be proven against other elite fighters man
Pretty simple question
Because it ain't ALL about resume dude, how many times and in how many different ways does the same question need to be answered lol....
I think gary russel jr was ranked in the top ten when lomachenko beat him, actually i'm positive....
Gary Russell Jr has never cracked the P4P list in his career.
Silly question. If you rewind back 6 months, none of top5 P4P fighters faced another P4P fighter. Neither Ward, Kovalev, Golovkin, Choco, Frampton, Crawford etc faced another Top10 P4P fighter.
Only thing that has changed is that Ward and Kovalev fought to basically a draw, depending on whose side you take.
Hell, if you want to, you can make an argument that Lomachenko beat a top10 or borderline top10 P4P fighter in Walters and is most deserving of top spot - if that's what you're going for. But it's a silly idea.
What I said.
On a serious note, how can we take P4P ranking seriously at all If we have that sort of criteria?
The smaller guys of the weight divisions are fighting regularly and often seeking to fight the best guys in their division and most of the time those guys down there are just as talented If not more talented than your bigger guys, so take this into consideration, bigger fighters from 135-200+ these guys all get more attention and from that attention they get higher ratings on P4P lists.
If we follow your criteria, none of the guys down at the lower weights will get the just credit they deserve, for example Rungvisai just beat P4P 1 fighter in the world and he hasn't even got into the top ten of the damn list!!
Whereas, Andre Ward who fought Kovalev got a top 2 rating after that fight and recently since Roman Gonzalez loss to Rungivsai, Ward has since gone onto becoming the P4P 1 guy, according to The Ring.
Both fights Ward Vs. Kovalev and Rungvisai Vs. Roman Gonzalez was both controversial, but for me, the Rungvisai one wasn't as controversial because we saw Rungvisai go to war with Roman for 12 rounds straight, it could have gone either way regardless of what Gonzalez fans think, but with the Ward fight most seemed in agreeance that it was a dodgy decision.
P4P lists really are confusing and half the time the people putting out the 'official' lists for the P4P don't give the guys that should get on the list their just do.
Based on what?
Talent and ability. You don't need to fight boxers on a flawed mythical ranking system to have top notch competition that validates your worth at the elite level.
In that case there should be no p4p list because only kovalev and ward are on the p4p list who faced each other. The other 8 fighters on the p4p list faced no one in the p4p list. LOL. Way to bury your own thread.
Dropping that Nuclear ether bomb onto Larry thread like glorious supreme leader Kim Jong-Un will do soon to USA.
well i bet you rated ward p4p number 1 before the kovalev fight. so what top 10 fighter had he fought before kovalev?
No i did not have him p4p #1 before the fight..and he had already fought Froch who was on the p4p list
whens froch ever been top 10 p4p? he certainly wasnt before the ward fight, his best win was after that (bute). its almost as if you and larry just make this **** up as you go along....
I'll take that as a no.
