Serious question, he just damn well beat Roman Gonzalez and before people mention robbery or whatever, well I didn't see the robbery label effect Wards chances of hitting into top 10, in fact since Roman lost Ward became P4P 1 with The Ring, how is that?
Currently they have the following
Ward
Kovalev
GGG
Roman Gonzalez
Terence Crawford
Lomachenko
Rigo
Canelo
Yamanaka
Inoue
So what the f**k is up with these people?
They don't mind giving Ward the number 1 spot for what the majority including Ward fans thought was a bad decision or not the right one, but when Rungvisai beats the guy who Ring had as the number 1 guy he can't even break into the god damn top 10!?
The agenda is real!
Sorry if this was already talked about, just noticed it recently and it kinda took me by surprise to not see his name in there.
Because they're racist against Minny Pacquiao.
TBE explained the joke the best, I think.
"So let's talk about Manny Pacquiao. This guy...moves up to welterweight...loses to Timothy Bradley...don't matter how...you...cut it, slice it or weigh it, he lost to Timothy Bradley. Gets...knocked out by Marquez. Go the distance with a lightweight. Now all of a sudden he's mandatory for my title. Funny how that happens."
The alphabet orgs put whoever they feel like putting in the limelight. They don't care about wins and losses, or about who sells PPVs anymore.
What loser has himself quoted as a Sig.
Roman is a midget and moved up to fight a bigger midget neither of them should be p4p but if rung beats him again he will probably be on the imaginary list.
Ward won a controversial decision and he had not done much *edit* since his return to pro boxing and in fact, he wasn't in the top ten before the Kovalev fight.
Both ESPN and Ring still have Roman Gonzalez in the top 5 P4P rankings and they still have Kovalev in the top 5 despite both who apparently lost be it controversial or not, you can't just decide who gets a pass and who doesn't, there is a clear biased agenda going on and it's B.S.
Those guys pass the eye test much more. The guy might not even beat other guys at 115 either.
I don't see a problem with it. Beating one P4P fighter does not automatically mean you get his place on the P4P list, especially if you've been beaten before. On top of that, I don't think he won. Roman was cut via headbutt and was a bloody mess because of it, which definitely affected the judges. Roman was the aggressor, wobbled Rungvisai several times and landed 100 punches more.
Rungvisai does not deserve a p4p spot right now. If he defeats Roman in a rematch, then yeah, he deserves a spot in the top10. Right now, it's more of a fluke win, which is why most people dropped Roman in the rankings but still kept him in Top10, and Rungvisai is not on the list.
Hatton was boosted up to #2 P4P when he beat Kostya Tszyu though.
Well, that was wrong. I wouldn't put any fighter in my p4p because of only one good win, Rigo don't have no names in his resume except for Donaire but nobody would deny that he has p4p talent and that he's dominant in his fights, unlike this Thai guy who had a close fight with Chocolatito
One good win doesn't mean much, a fighter has to prove to be consistent, that's why
Actually, Rungvisai probably should have had a win over pimple back, but sadly he got robbed out of that one, his record is pretty decent I underestimated before watching him fight him like you're doing right
Well he won a close controversial fight. Also, P4P factors in skill and a string of fights. I wouldn't pick him for a rematch.

Hey, I agree that Rungo should be in the p4p top 10 if the ring is only going off of official results. The Wrad example is pertinent but like you said, there's an agenda. There is no money to be made by promoting a little asian fighter in a division no one watches who has zero traction with any american tv channel.
I'm honestly really confused about how these rankings all work out. Danny Garcia became the mandatory for the WBA after losing a fight? Yamanaka seems like a paper champion at best and he's #9. Do people even know who Yamanaka is?
I've heard of him, yes, but I've not gone to the extent of watching him.
ESPN had a P4P list out as well that also doesn't include Rungvisai in the top 10, to me, this is just a huge slap in the face for that fighter If you can give Ward a pass then why can't you give Rungvisai a pass and his due props?!?
Very unprofessional in my opinion.
Yeah he is the guy who works at the local sushi place.
Lmfao!

P4P list, why isn't Rungvisai in top ten? | BoxingScene Community
