Is Mikey Garcia signing with Golden Boy?

Mikey Garcia was at the LA Fight Club last night wearing a Golden Boy hat. He mentioned less then a month ago that he had talks of signing with Golden Boy. “I’m still a free agent but we spoke to Golden Boy a few weeks ago and presented something for me that’s very interesting,” Garcia told CBS Sports. “We weren’t able to lock anything in because of time scheduling for the fight he was showing me, but we talked to him." http://www.boxingscene.com/mikey-garcia-received-good-offers-from-schaefer-de-la-hoya--114905 And now he showing up at Golden Boy events wearing their hats? Did steward go out of his way to tell the world he was in talks to sign to your stupid company weeks before that? And did his brother and trainer have a business relationship with your company? I swear some solid to good posters don't seem to understand the business. A guy can be a Haymon/PBC guy & sign with ANY PROMOTER IN THE WORLD. Haymon is a manager/adviser & not a promoter. A fighter can have both a manger & promoter. This is ABC's of boxing business sh^t brother. Or B+ troll post for getting me to bite on your silly post. Either or. You know damn well golden boy after the lawsuit with Schaefer put language in their contracts to restrict their guys from signing with haymon as an adviser. None of the Golden boy fighters are using haymon. You can bet any deal they offer Mikey will have the same restriction in it. And do we know that Mikey is signed long term with haymon and not just using him on a fight by fight basis?

None of those are bigger fights then what I named. And Diaz is a huge underdog, currently ranked 18th at 140 by boxrec and not on ring or espn top 10 rankings for 140. Diaz is not a top haymon fighter. Whether you want to go by rankings or by name value the guys I mentioned are all bigger fights then the guys you mentioned. If Mikey was so thrilled by PBC options why isn't he name dropping any of these guys for fights he wants? Why is he mentioning golden boy and top rank fighters instead? Why is he talking with Oscar about signing with golden boy a couple weeks ago? And why is he now showing up at his events rocking golden boy hats? You don't do all that if you happy with the PBC fighters haymon has to offer. Well it wouldn't be the first time he did something stupid lol.
