There is a lot of confident (some very cocky) Spence fans on here, if he gets shut out for 10 rounds and absolutely slaughtered until he quits will you still support him or is that hype train then derailed?
it will be as a result of however sensible Spence is, however neither man is really suited to really believe that each can perform higher at 154, however as a result of each of them square measure cutting plenty to create this it reasonably cancels itself out.
Imagine the NSB hype train for Spence if he actually beats Brook...
If Brook wins, it will be 'oh he had home cooking', UK Judges DKSAB, Brooke was juicing lol.
Here's an interesting question, what if Brook is outboxing him in first quarter of the fight then all of a sudden Spence catches him in say championship rounds and game over. What then?
Then Spence gets hyped as the greatest fighter ever, Brook ends up fighting some lower level guys to build himself back up, fight a couple of good contenders and if it was close like you said then get the rematch, Brook wouldn't lose as many fans as spence would in the situation of a loss

The hype train is stalled, but he's still young enough to have the opportunity to get back on track; he'd spend the next two years, sharpening up his skills against the old warhorses (Guerrero, Collazo, Peterson, Herrera, Alexander, etc), before taking another shot at the top.
didnt spence get wobbled by some bum... thats why theyve put him in with featherfisted fighters since....
Once again, you're talking big shyte about this fight. You take Brook, I'll take Spence. Loser leaves NSB forever. No alts, no BS, just gone. Man up or STFU about this fight.
we stick by fighters who lose, we dont throw them on the trash heap/pretend they never existed like you do...
porter was not hyped to be some great american hero like you pretend he was.. and hes still getting big fights.. gary russel had even less hype. You just enjoy making things up
Look at GGG vs Brook. Judges actually scored the bout in favot of Brook.
Brook is good enough to make the fight close/win. I'm certain he gets robbed if it goes to decision (assuming he does actually deserve the win). I don't see Brook getting KO'd.
I give this fight to Brook. I think Spence is overconfident and is rushing in to this fight, similar to Lomachenko/Salido. Of course he's good, but he needs stiff competition to prepare for someone like Brook, who I consider the top ww right now and the best ww in years. It'll probably be close but Spence will come up short. However, we've yet to see how Brook performs given that he's now going down in weight after gaining so much and since his orbital bone injury. That probably makes it even, but if the weight and injury don't affect Brook too much, I think he edges it.
If he loses, then he's lost to a very very good fighter. No shame in that. There isn't an active welterweight in the world that i'd confidently pick to beat Brook.
That said, if he loses, it depends how he loses. If Brook stopped him in quick fashion, that can happen to almost anybody and might still not answer some questions. If Brook just completely outclassed Spence over the duration of a long fight to a wide decision or late KO, then i guess it might be fair to say Spence was a bit overhyped.
Or it might just be a close fight where both have their moments and then i think most will agree they're two top notch WW's.
they'll lie and pretend they never hyped him. just as they lie about porter never being hyped before he fought brook. youll find a lot more crawford fans popping up from nowhere in the weeks after the fight. spence will be forgotten very quickly, i dont hear j-rock williams name mentioned much round here any more....
is lying a nation wide thing in england or just for your hick town?
Lets see what happens. I think fans that write off a fighter based on a loss would probably do the same here. Especially since its 20 fights into his career.
I think he will lose but will compete. Brook is a very good fighter and well rounded, well schooled. Spence will have his moments but come short and it will likely serve him well moving forward.
It's not an American thing though. You find Nuthuggers in every country and people need to take everything they say with a grain of salt, cause nuthuggers are delusional.
Oh absolutely, there are plenty of nuthuggers in every country, the particular ones only support black american fighters though, you'll probably know the ones i'm talking about. Just interested to see how they react in this situation.
Nope, Brook is a well schooled fighter. I have seen boxers who are Americans but have given Brook a well deserved respect despite his lack of tough resume at 147, make no mistake if Spence beat Brook over here then he would have live up to the hype, the belief others have in him and he would have made a statement. Because at 147 Brook would NOT be easy for anyone. Even though am picking Spence, I would NOT be shocked if Brook beats him. This is a huge jump in opposition and experience for Spence, but it is a jump that his talents is suppose to overcome.
Depends on "how" you lose. Not a bad look if it's a tough competive fight. Brook is a very good fighter. If Brook makes him look average then it's obviously a bad look.
Do you think a lot of Spence fans who are saying he's the next SRL will claim that he was never any good because I can see it happening. (Not the real fans but these weird nuthuggers who worship every new American coming through)
Doubt Spence will lose a decision unless they strong arm him. The verdict is on his chin... IF he gets KTFO then the hype will be over instantly pretty much. Hopefully he is the goodz.
