Mikey is an obvious choice, so I don't include it in my poll, we all want to see that fight, but let's assume he's not available, which fight would you like to see?
Easter beating Lomachenko is comedic. Of those options Linares is a great option as he is the most accomplished and that would look the best fight in the ring. Flanagan is a good option as it would be at a sold out event in England. Expanding your brand is always worthwhile. Salido, I guess just to wipe the floor with him and avenge the "loss" that so many hold against him and are fixated with. Corrales is a solid option, but much lesser known, even though he's obviously a good fighter coming off two excellent wins.
Linares probably would be my choice but it's probably the least likely as his next opponent.
Salido/Linares are the 2 best fights. Salido to avenge his 1 loss and Linares is the man at 135 right now. Mikey is probably too big and beats him but until he does Linares is number 1.
Oh man, somebody would argue with you. Some people think it's THE fight that all boxing fans want, even though it's a mismatch and gonna be one-sided in Easter's favor, and that's not the type of fights people want to see.
That's what I'm trying to tell Kigali now, boxing fans they want to see intriguing matchups, not mismatches and Robert Easter isn't an option, he's too good for Loma. I've tried to choose fights where Loma got some chances of winning. Why we're supposed to give Easter any credit for beating an easy opponent? He needs to look for more challenging fights
Yeah, I saw you and Kigali. LMAO.
I think Easter's length presents a problem initially but he doesn't have enough to be able to beat Loma right now.
The jump in talent Easter would be making going from Comney and Cruz to Loma is extremely huge. From what I've seen of him Loma is just too good right now.
Easter (although I think Loma is too good for him)

I think Berchelt, Linares and Easter (although I think Loma is too good for him) present the toughest fights for Loma because they have huge reach advantages. I think watching him use his skills to overcome these advantages would be interesting and extremely entertaining.
Salido would be good on paper (the build up would be fantastic) but I am sure Loma learned from that fight and would fight Salido completely differently this time around and defeat him soundly.
IMO Flanagan, Gamboa, Corrales and Davis have no chance to defeat Loma right now.
You don't put Easter there because you THINK/WISH the ones you listed were better.
You didn't mention him because you know he'd wipe his ass with Loma.
That's why I've said he needs more experience to increase his chances against Loma. Makes sense
Maybe he would, but you're one of the few people who really believe in it which means the fight doesn't make sense for fans. You're gonna disown him in case he loses and pretend like he was never that good
Your ****ing giant needs to fight somebody his own size, not guys moving up from smaller divisions
If Loma and Linares got in the ring together, it would be the most amazing thing ever.
It would probably the most graceful fight ever! it would be an art exhibition, not a boxing match imo. lol
I think Easter gives him the most problems
Loma vs Gamboa would be fun
Easter gives everyone problems because he's a LW with a MW build. Loma would look like a midget. If there was any guy today who had the body to move up multiple divisions, it's Easter.
As for the OP, I would prefer if Loma unified 130lb, so I'd go with Corrales and Berchelt. We all know Loma/Davis isn't happening anytime soon, so no use in discussing it.
Gamboa needs to dispatch Castellanos in good fashion and then beat another solid fighter (maybe Roman, Miura or Vargas since they're also with GBP) before facing Lomachenko
He would be the lowest on my list of the named fighters
Yeah, he needs to be more active and shake off the rust before the fight, I wouldn't want to see that fight right now, but Gamboa still earned the reputation of a very talented fighter, even though he's wasting it
Now I wonder why that is??
Man, anyway why I use so many damn words talking to you? You won't get my point anyway. Easter isn't here because I think all these 7 fighters are better than him. That's it. There's nothing complicated to explain. Not to mention that he looks like he doesn't belong in that division

Because I hate Robert Easter with a passion, you don't have to wonder. He's american, I don't like americans. That's the answer you want to hear.
Now ask me why I've included Gervonta Davis in poll options. That fact doesn't fit your nationalist agenda
First of all, I don't think he belongs at 135, he needs to move up
Second, this fight doesn't make sense. Gamboa and Linares are way more proven fighters than Easter. Terry Flanagan is not proven, but that fight makes sense from business point of view. Just like fight with Gervonta Davis, it makes sense too - after Pedraza win he's more well-known than Robert.
Easter would be a good option, but he needs some more experience at this point of his career. I don't mind to see that fight happening in 1-2 years, considering Robert Easter keeps winning but if that fight will happen next, boxing fans won't give any credit to Lomachenko in case he wins that fight, including you, fans will say that Robert was too green.
I've choosen 7 best options at 130-135 in my opinion, I'm sorry that your favorite fighter wasn't mentioned :frown:
Honestly I'd be more than happy with him facing anyone (or everyone) on that list. Berchelt, Corrales and Davis are three of the best young champs in the sport so it'll be a shame if they never test their mettle against Loma. I guess I'd be happiest if it was one of them as his next opponent, while Mikey could face another one of the 135 champs in the meantime. Then they can have their showdown at the end of the year
