Seriously. As absolute ****e that Jeff Horn is, I bet you he could box circles around Conor and stop him.
Not to mention the fact that one guy is actually a professional boxer while the other is 0-0 and got toyed with by Van Heerden****.
Floyd fans really have no room to comment when their guy is about to pull a Toney-Couture type deal.
1) Robert Guerrero: Floyd had said in an interview that he honestly didn't know who Guerrero was.
2) Juan Marquez had just moved up to 135 and never fought at 140 nor 147. Floyd also came in 2lbs over the initially contracted weight.
Floyd and his fans said "But Marquez is #2 P4P
"Jeff Horn is ranked #2 by the WBO and the IBF(at 147)"
IBF
1. Errol Spence Jr.
2. Jeff Horn
3. Andre Berto
WBO
1. Timothy Bradley
2. Jeff Horn
3. Jessie Vargas
no need to defend a sh1t fight man, thats why Arum has no issue feeding ya'll sh1t
When Horn was mentioned to Manny he said this to Arum

I'm asking why the outrage over Pacquiao-horn yet Nonchalant attitude about Floyd-Conor?-
Ok let's just switch roles for a minute. Mayweather comes out of retirement and says he's fighting Jeff Horn and Manny Pacquiao agrees to fight Conor McGregor in a boxing match. How will people react now?
Even in retirement Mayweather is still frustrating Pacquiao fans.
Pacquiao fans: Stop being unfair to Manny. Mayweather is fighting a MMA fighter. That's a lot worst than a true champion from Australia. I blame the blacks.

Yeah i agree. I should've explained it better, i mean in the context of them being hyped up to casuals and true fans alike.
Most boxing fans know this is a junk of a fight, yet based on many factors, people actually want to see this fight because they think its a 50/50 matchup when the best part of this scrap will probably be in the buildup
Most of the world believed it was flat, the majority of people are not very smart so who cares if they think its 50/50, they hype every fight with BS why care who believes the hype.
Those are not spectacles, those are by technical advancement, meritocracy, and elimination in being the best of the best in professional sports. I don't see how Floyd vs Conor is anything near those.

And Floyd is TBE coming back to fight a derp that got OUTBOXED by DIAZ.
SRL came back to fight Hagler ffs. Then Norris.
Imagine Floyd coming back to fight GGG at MW? Unfathomable concept.
We would all have all the respect in the world for him, win controversially or get KTFO in 1.
was he 40????? NO HE WAS FVCKING 31!!!! AND 35 WITH NORRIS
I think you're being a bit too harsh on the Nelo vs Chavez Jr. bout. It has been in the works since 2011, even when Nelo was with All Star. Mexicans are very divided too just like stateside boxers are. I'm being literal. Mexico is divided in states. Different areas have competitive feuds when it comes to boxing. In fact a lot of Mexicans in general don't like stateside horn Mexican Americans. Those are called "chilangos" as some have stated here. It's a derogatory. Barrera from the capital, just like many from the capital of Mexico, think of Tijuana Mexicans as filth. The same ironic depiction of most American films of Mexico and the border. Dangerous areas. But in reality Mexico has many dangerous states.
This is why the Nelo vs Alvarez fight has a major feud in it. Many loyalists in Mexican boxing ride with the Chavez family. The Nelo fans are basically a newer generation comprising of both Mexican American and Mexican fans (from his home state.
Jr. was already smoking spliffs and out of shape in 2015. Yet that didn't stop K2 or Abel in exploiting names like Jr. or Froch as money fights or rather "if it makes financial sense we will move up to 168." What did Chavez Jr. have that Golovkin would acquire? No belt.
So how come Nelo vs Chavez Jr. has no benefit of the doubt to make more realistic financial sense for beef dating back to 2011? It was the Chavez family
That were the bullies back then, and most of Chavez affiliates or others like Marquez downplayed the young star.
technically I don't think there's ever been a Mexican like Alvarez taking on opposition like Floyd or Lara at such a young age and at that weight. The Floyd fight should've been at 154, but that's aside business
Don't get me wrong, it's a great fight (in the literal sense), which is why I want to see it. It's the TIMING. Everyone was looking at Canelo to either take on the new lions at 154, or go up to 160 and start making waves there. Either way, this next fight was a critical decision for him. What does he do? "Fuk yall, I'm going to fight Chaves at 165!"
It just landed at the wrong time considering he just became JMW champ again and the GG fight is reaching now or never status. Really odd timing so I understand why people are pissed.
One is a retired Champion coming out for mega payday spectacle like when Ali fought the wrestler this is the same deal only Floyd will make 50 times what Ali made, nobody thinks the fight is a legit fair boxing match its a commercial event that will sell big time, McGreggor called Floyd out don't forget that, and since then many boxers including Manny ALL said they would fight Connor , once you get it through your head what this fight is all about then all I can say more power to Connor and Floyd they will make a motza.
With Manny and Horn, it is a legit world title fight and many other worthy guys would fight Manny but they chose Horn a 17 fight novice that has a draw from a guy that had 5 loses in 14 fights and he is worthy of a world title fight with Manny GTFOH.
Manny is not Garcia Brook or Thurman etc Manny is right there with Floyd in boxing stature he should not ever be fighting this level of opponent while he is a current world champion, Floyd would be dragged over coals if he chose such a nobody to defend a title against, even in Aus Rocky Katidis has been calling Horn out all over the country and he is a shot LW.
The thing is its not a lot of difference between the miss match of Horn or the miss match of Connor they both way out of their league, but only one is a recognized World Title fight.
2 different things man, not even in the same ballpark..boxing fans should be cheering Floyd on...The UFC has disrespected boxing so long why would you not want their biggest star embarrassed?? Manny is fvcking himself staying with Arum..HELL HE DIDNT EVEN WANT THIS FVCKING FIGHT!!!!!

Because Top Rank is trying to sell Pacquiao-Horn as a legitimate world title fight, and anyone with even a sideways interest in the fight understands that Mayweather-McGregor is an utter freakshow.
Are you literally trying to argue that Jeff Horn is a legit world-level challenger?
The praise wouldn't even come from Floyd beating Connor as a boxer/fighter. Its just bloodlust a lot of people who hate the hue of Floyd or feel he didn't pay them in blood for the Pac match. One of my favorite personalities Colin Cowherd believes that if Floyd lost, he'd totally prove his career to be a wash and if Connor wins, it proves his ability and skill right when in honesty, its a money grab for Connor who probably feels physically different from the Diaz fights. A lot of people think like Colin and Connor has to play the part. He knows that MMA is too broad as a discipline to completely master it like guys like Floyd have with boxing. Its a casual fans dream match. Its a spectacle. No different than The Super Bowl, Olympics and The World Cup.
