Lets say you woke up as Chris Eubank Snr, what would you advise Eubank Jnr on what to do next with his career?
And firing yourself is not an option or your son firing you is not an option
This would be his schedule
August, 2017 - VS BJS in Wembley for WBO (possibly but I don’t think BJS can be bothered with the Eubank’s)
December, 2017 - VS Groves in 02 Arena for WBA and IBO (possibly)
April, 2018 - VS DeGale in Wembley for WBA, IBF, IBO, Ring, and Lineal (possibly)
September, 2018 - VS Callum Smith in Wembley for WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO, Ring, and Lineal (he’d lose this fight)
Febuary, 2019 - VS Rocky Fielding in O2 Arena for WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO, Ring, and Lineal (why?? Callum Smith already beat him easy)
July, 2019 - VS Bellew @185 in Wembley (lol, Bellew can’t even make 185 now without being dead)
December, 2019 - VS Ward @175 in MGM Arena for WBA, WBO, IBF, and Ring (probably retired by this point)
May 2020 - VS Canelo @168 in Cowboy Arena for WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO, Ring, and Lineal ] (his third weight class in the same year nearly 20lbs apart?)
My breakdown of that schedule..
I love how boxing fans take 1 in a million rarities and apply them to all boxers. Tommy Hearns was a 6'1 welterweight so Kovalev has zero excuses for not fighting there, right?? :lol1:
I said 'theoretically'
He just needs to fight. I've watched him since his pro debut and he's had 1 good opponent that whole time. Between inactivity and poor direction from his dad, he's been a waste of talent. If he had a clue, he'd tell pops that he needs to further his development under someone else's guidance. The drama might even give his career a new spark (media-wise).
This^^^^^
Just stay active vs fringe contenders who can make you look good. Fight 2 or 3 of those in 6 months, then by fall by lined up for whatever big fight is available. But activity is key, and facing lower level contenders for experience, which Eubanks is still lacking.
Bite my tongue, sign with Eddie Hearn, and see how far my son's talent could take him

Sky Sports has the biggest stage in UK boxing (in Sky Box Office), and the Eubank name is still big.
Give up some control of the event to Eddie Hearn, but do what's neccesary to get the fight with Golovkin, and fight on the 80/20 Box Office share (between the fighter and the promoter) that's become the standard for Matchroom Sport.
If he's good enough to beat Golovkin (which is possible), he'd also be good enough to likely deal with Billy Joe Saunders. Put a beachhead in NYC and one in London, and bounce between the two sites as long as he's champion.

Correct sir, "he just needs to fight"!
x2 Dude just needs to fight someone half decent. With his pops' name it doesn't take a marketing genius to see that there's money to be made, so making the fights shouldn't be hard work but damn, it's almost like they're trying to fuck up his career.

Go down to 160 and try and get some relevant fights. He will get exposed once again vs the top 168lbers. He doesn't have enough power to KO people at that weight and doesn't have the skills to beat the elite.
He can fight Charlo, BJS, GGG, Jacobs, Lara is he wants it.
Forget him. Him and his dad are nothing but snake oil merchants looking the next quick buck. That's why he's trying to make a fight with Bellew now. He has no real aspirations for boxing greatness.
Mike Tyson was a 5'11 heavyweight undisputed champ. Canelo's build is similar to Mike's so theoretically, at 5'8/5'9 Canelo should be able to fight at light heavy.
Never go full retard LOL

Lol, whut?? You think Canelo is going to be too big to cut down to 168 in 3 years? Are you attending the Maxi school of sport science??
Canelo, a 5'9", light heavyweight. :lol1:

Your assumption that ward and bellew will still be active in 2 years time...or that canelo will still be able to make 168 in 3 years from now negates whatever started out as good in your thread. The only thing likely true is that eubank will stay fighting domestic level englishmen for the next few years..and will likely hold onto the title he won as nobody really cares about it or could be bothered to fight for it.
