I was in playa del carmen for 2014 world cup during brazil vs mexico. I walked passed atleast 20 bars on 5th ave. All the bars were small and seating was difficult. We eventually walked into a nearly empty restaurant and asked if they had the game. We went upstairs and they had some nice tvs. We were concerned about the food but it was one of our best meals. I forgot the name but best bet is have dinner early and get to a bar early.
I was going to say 5th Avenue like BoxingFan85 said.
My brother was there last year and watched the Canelo Vs Smith fight at a bar there :ANYWORD:
Well when I was there last year, I got bit by tons of mosquitoes.. :lol1:
It's on free tv, but TVAzteca are greedy ****s and might show it on tape delay to pay less for the rights or to put more than 1 minute of commercials between rounds......the fight will be on basic cable as well though, so any self-respecting restaurant/bar will have it live without ****ty commercials.
sometimes for big fights they show it live or almost live...
but yeah, best bet is space tv on cable...
Didn't know it was on free tv there. Watching it at a resort bar is probably the move then, thanks!

Doesn't canelo fight on Azteca TV in mexico. They pay him one of the largest Mexican TV deals in history. You in Mexico watch it on Azteca TV for free or go to a bar I'm sure all of them in Mexico will be airing it. Otherwise you can order the live stream PPV from Ring TV if you have internet.

I'll be in Mexico for the fight and was wondering if anyone knew where I could catch it in Playa del Carmen.
