who the **** is that :lol1: only 6lbs difference between middle and jr middle, dont need to fight some bums to acclimatise to the weight
The guy you would've had to hype up if he continued being mando for GGG.
He's a guy that can punch instead of slap like that coke-whore in your Avi...
Heiland can punch now? Wtf?
Would you have said the same if GGG was gonna fight him?
I'm a Charlo fan and want to see Charlo vs GGG if it makes sense in the future but damn you're biased as hell. Heiland is whack af, don't big him up especially since he's nothing more than a testing the waters fight for Charlo.
you honestly don't understand frame sizes. Look how huge Ward is compared to Lennox Lewis in walk-around weight, side to side. DeGale, Ramirez, (maybe Jack), those guys look smaller compared to Ward. Ward is HUGE for a 168lbr now. Take it his metabolism has slowed and that fatty tissue and muscle is just bigger today. Stop using Ward in any 168 context. He is a LHW.
get your logic right. If you'Re saying Gennady is inferior to a LHW you might as well say he can't hang at LHW with any top 100. Is that what you'Re saying? Or is it because the elite at LHW would blast him out so it's easier to say he doesn'T belong there?
There's a reason why I have the signature caption pic below of ESPN saying his ''power'' is 2 divisions higher...which is why he has milked out 160 at 35 years of age. #Lyle Fitzsimmons
we've been saying this for years
I don't understand frame sizes? You're reading between the lines and making up random stories :lol1:
Dude, let me make this clear for you:
Regadless of Wards "frame," the fact of the matter is that he'd fight Golovkin at 168, not 175, and Golovkin will never move up to 175. Does that hurt your feelings or something? Wtf get over it dude. Lol
IF GGG-Ward ever fought, it'd be at 168. Golovkin will NEVER move up to 175, and I'm not going to give you the satisfaction of sitting here and saying "Yeah, he won't move up because he'd get destroyed at 175." There's no reason to live in fantasy-land, GGG is a middleweight and a 35 year old one at that, he isn't moving up to 175. Ever. Get that through your brain.
So Ward is a natural 175lber and won't move back down for GG. Okay? Then the fight won't happen.
He doesn't belong at 175. He's too small, idc what your opinion is or what you've been saying for years about him moving up to 175. In my opinion he's too small for 175, obviously, so I'm not going to compare him to 175lb fighters just like how I'm not going to compare Junior Middleweights to Super Middleweights.
GGG beats everyone from 154-168, only Ward has a chance to beat him at 168- if a fighter isn't planning on facing GGG in that range of weight classes, then I am not referring to him and he is irrelevant to this convo
/discussion
His chin ultimately couldn't hold up to the step up in class, but he did a lot of good things against Charlo. Remember, this is an unproven 154lber we're talking about. What do you think GG would do?
Hell, even before the KO, he landed a hard shot.... Charlo has leaky defense, everything about him is all wrong for GG. GG would of KO'd him with that punch before the ultimate KO, IMHO.
Bro just take this L and walk away you got ether just now .... ggg couldn't knockout Jacobs his power doesn't hold up to elite boxers
A 5th round knockout win with three KDs is hardly life and death lol.... did Golovkin go life and death with Brook??????
I don't think so.
this is going to sound cliche: but lets be real here:
Golovkin was letting Brook have success in that fight, I have no scientific formula to prove this.... but just watch the fight and you'll see he had absolutely no respect for Brook.
It's NOT life and death if you're not trying, which Golovkin wasn't. It IS life and death if you are doing EVERYTHING in your power to avoid being hit and trying your 100000% hardest to win, which was the case with Charlo.
Golovkin knew Brook couldn't bother him and the KO was ultimately coming, but Charlo really had to dig deep for that KO and was truly bothered by J-Rock, IMHO.
Ward WAS a natural 168lbr.
If Ward was at 168 still you don'T think that would be unfair to other 168 fighters? so he went to 175 to fight Kovalev because he wanted a real challenge and not also because 175 is more comfortable? Did you see how scrawny he was against the Kova weigh in?
Huh? I don't get it lol, what are you arguing?
Are you saying that Kovalev would beat Golovkin too? Of course he would, but skills aside (Kovalev is better in general, imo), he's too big for Golovkin. That's not a fair fight.
I'm saying from 154-168, nobody can beat Golovkin, except for Ward. Maybe. I still don't think he'd win, but he'd have the best chance and at this point I'd probably be nervous for my boy GG while they're walking to the ring, tbh.
Golovkin beats any other active fighters from 154-168 right now- 175 is way too big a step up, obviously, so I'm not comparing him to any LHWs except Ward currently

That's your opinion. In my opinion, he has no chance against Golovkin.
Just let the fight happen and you'll see.
Life and death with Julian Williams will not translate nicely to a fight with GG.
Dropping your opponents 3 times while up on the scorecards is life and death???

what does that even mean? What weight are they fighting at? Ward is huge framed compared to the lanky Kovalev. You're saying no top 5 LHW other than Ward can beat GGG?
Huh? No LHWs.
Ward is a natural 168lber. I'm talking up to 168.
GG is a small 160lber, forget about LHW.
There is no such thing as no way in sports.
Any active,sane person knows that.
That's your opinion. In my opinion, he has no chance against Golovkin.

Smart/logical choice for Charlo. Heiland sucks and been inactive.
However, I think the WBC & WBA are going to force their mando's to fight each other for a shot at Golovkin. So after Heiland, Charlo might have to fight the winner of N'Dam/Murata.
Charlo will knock this German pressure washer out in 3 rounds.
Easy work.
GGG easily outclassed Charlo tho
Hes a gaucho from Argentina tho?
He seems to of been busy riding horses for years, as i havent heard from him since he KO'd macklin 4 years ago in a big upset...
Good move. Should ease him into 160 nicely and I was getting tired of Heiland taking up space in the WBC rankings
Hopefully someone (Lemieux? Derevyanchenko?) targets Tureano Johnson next
