I respect GGG. He a cool, respectable dude. He always gives proper respect. He's been showing Danny Jacobs respect before and after the fight. It's the fanboys, the racists that love him, the media and their hype machine, etc. that has made me not like the guy and root against him. When I step back and look at it, he hasn't actually done anything for me to not like him. He's a great fighter and just goes about his business. I can also relate to his backstory, the circumstances he comes from as a African American from the inner city.
With that said, I apologize to GGG for hating on him but **** the fanboys and racists. It's yall I don't like, not GGG.

you're probably a racist.
Yep. I never see them in the threads I write about GGG news or videos I find of him. But as soon as I write something critical of him here they come
It really is true...reminds me of mayweather fanboys.
By the way, any GGG fans, care to explain what's so "sublime" about his mother****ing boxing skills? I keep hearing all that **** about his "sublime" defense and skills but I can't help but see a guy who's blocking everything that lands with his face, sometimes it looks like some provodnikov-esque type of stuff.
And it turns out to be some sublime **** that I wasn't able to notice
I'll bite, he has the best jab in boxing(or at the worst top 3), and to that note, he has the best counterjab (or top 3) he cuts the ring masterfully, Jacobs gave him problems but even so he always had jacobs stuck in corners or near the ropes. He picks his shots well, he has one of the best hit and not get hit ratios (that speaks for itself really), he has amazing power that is generated not just by raw power but technique as well, he has excellent balance, you never see him falling or stumbling around after he throws a shot, he has excellent offense in terms of punch selection, he does great body work.
is he superman? no but he is the best middleweight in the world and has been for some time. If you consider that to be just an average fighter hen your standards are truly unrealistic.
Show me where he's acting entitled.
He's waited for his shot for years, he's fought all over the world, in between fights he travels all over the world promotionally, he's uprooted his whole family twice to move to a better country, he's never disrespected the sport in any way - always playing by the rules, he's been doing every single thing possible to increase his standing in the boxing world, and he's doing in his 30s.
The man is the hardest working boxer in the world today who's been through hell in his life and dealt with things 99% of people can't even imagine. You can hate his fighting style, his hype, his manager, his trainer or his fans - but don't make up some bullsh1t narrative in your head about what some of these sportsmen go through.
GGG's personality is a big put off, especially his fake good boy act but will talk **** at the drop of a hat. Which one is it? Turning down 15 million shows he's a diva and always tough negotiations with anybody with a pulse, that's entitled behavior.
If it ever gets to that point then it is time to just Log Off honestly! I CANNOT hold a fighter responsible for their Childish, Ignorant, HATEFUL, Groupie Acting Fans! That would be totally unfair so why should fans start to hate a fighter because of a few of his Trolling Loser Fans

Personally I don't think he's hype. He's a damned good fighter and a good guy. People including me underestimated Danny. I thought he would get knocked out because he's been down before. I also underestimated his hand speed. Golovkin is a good guy snd so is Danny. People were critisizing him after for claiming he won the fight. It was close and any fighter that believes in himself would say the same thing. There are a lot of idiots on this website for sure. I'm a Golovkin fan so please don't hate me...LOL
It'd really crazy. I've been a GGG fan since Freaking Proska. His balance, ability to cut off the ring, punch variation, control of his opponents, all of it is sublime and a joy to watch. But I find myself on the other side because some of his other "fans" and the media are disgusting.

I don't find myself in the fanatism some others are, but GGG is my favourite fighter atm. I used to defend him and spend time on it, but I won't do it anymore because life is short to waste your time trying to explain stuff to stupid people.
We never act. We react. To irrational hate mostly. Particulary me, I never said GGG was perfect. Some people don't see the good things.
I understand very clearly that the main source of criticism for GGG is his race/origin country.
I don't care about PPV numbers, but I know GGG sells well enough to deserve a % of the PPV against Canelo.
Pick your battles bro! Don't let trolls bait you. Only counter reasonable arguments against your favorite fighters. If someone trolls you, troll back.
I like the boxers I like.. It could be for various reasons skills, their attitude & their commitment to the sport..
I don't let others influence my decision/choice because like me they too have opinions & they may differ from mine.. Consider the facts ignore the taunts & you'll probably be fine..
Sit back & enjoy while the hyenas fight.. :lol1:
I just like triggering GGG's haters cause they are the most electric people I've met. You say something good about GGG and they go nuts! What happened to freedom of speech? People here just don't respect.
You mustve never met a Mayweather fan...

I cant say Im a GGG fan BUT the hate he receives from the hypocrites have made me grow fonder of him. I do love his work ethic though. Big Bear is no joke
Very good respectable post btw...
Good post. GGG is a great fighter.
But I don't let the fans and the media affect me. It's actually fun to watch the epic reactions from guys like bigdramashow, _Maxi, Jubei and others whenever he gets criticized.
There was one dude that stopped posting, not because GGG lost a fight, but because his PPV didn't do that great :lol1:

golovkin's personality still grates on my nerves, the fake good boy but at the same time entitled act so I could never like him. I am glad though that he has been taken down a notch as his hype was getting obscene and his fans are the most disgusting this side of "special" pacman fanboys.

that was barchman, sometimes i think is bigdrama who show up after barchman left...
Golovkin acts all friendly and he always smiling when he gets interviewed by Western media, so you think he's a "good boy" but when some Russian speaking people approaches him with questions he's giving them cold shoulder like he doesn't even want to talk to them, like he want to say get the **** out of my face. That's why he's a fraud, he might be a sociopath. I've heard he said he loved hurting random people on the street, so that's his "nice guy" persona, I guess. You might think he's that friendly and dorky looking, kumis drinking (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kumis) Borat from Kazakhstan, but I feel the guy is a businessman, he knows how to create an image of a nice guy, making a good career with small efforts, handpicking his opponents, and all these myths about him knocking out HEAVYWEIGHTS in sparrings, and I'm sure he's laughing at all these haters who's obsessed with him and the fans who crowns him as 1# p4p, while he's counting his money $$$ so you can respect him for that
I just don't want to waste my energy on hating or following him, I don't care much about Golovkin
K2 has tried very hard to make him the Klitschko of the middleweight division

You hate the media that likes Gennady and you hate the fans that like Gennady...sounds a lot like you don't like Gennady and you have disdain for those that like him.
