It's clear that the white fans love GGG, Kov, Pac and mostly European fighters, while the black fans love PBC fighters, Ward, Mayweather and Crawford.
There's such a bias and subjectivity that all the threads are becoming black and white in criticism. No one is being honest about fights anymore.
you mean you actually believe when Conor says ''he is the face of boxing,'' pugilist fans at this cite feel insecure.
ironic, with your funny theories and justifications for Conor at a boxing forum.
yes, boxing fans need Nate Diaz to protect the integrity of boxing and marketing ploys! Irishcutionerism!
Boxing is getting weaker by the day, same reason why GGG doesn't sell and Mayweather did.
Why Lomachenko fights on Boxing after Dark but doesn't get mentioned as probably the most technical fighter ever so far.
Boxing has no star, there is no excitement. I believe this occurred after the UFC NYC card honestly.
PBC is putting on fights in casinos on Bounce and HBO isn't getting enough of a budget to pay their guys to fight.
The average viewer of a boxing telecast in 2015 was 53 fuckking years old. You tell me how that sounds for this young and vivacious sport.
It's sad that main focus post fight seems to be about race and a supposed robbery. I've yet to see anyone really credit both fighters and congratulate them on a great fight
I don't see anything wrong with ethnic pride and rooting for an athlete based upon their ethnicity or race. Look at world cup soccer, a perfect example of ethnic fan bases. Blacks cheer on their favorite athletes like Mayweather, Hopkins, and Crawford, while whites will support GGG, Kovalev and Klitschko. Mexicans and Puerto Ricans get behind their fighters, as do Asians.
The problem is when you totally dismiss a fighter based upon his race or ethnicity. Anyone who totally dismisses the talents of top tier fighters is usually motivated by race. As much as I dislike Mayweather, I can admit he is a great athlete and a great defensive fighter. I don't like his style and I don't like him as a person, but not because he is black. I have all-time favorite fighters of all races and backgrounds; Hagler, Duran, Barrera, Jones Jr., Pacquiao, Loma, Gonzalez, Spence, Cotto, and the list goes on.
I watch the hate that pours out over GGG on this forum and I consider the source. Most of it is race-based, and these aren't true fans of the sport. They are fans of particular fighters and cannot appreciate anyone outside of their race. Don't tell them that though, because the truth is a tough pill to swallow.

I agree and I'm going to rank the fanbases in terms of ****ness:
1. The black fanbase
2. The white/east euro/some time neo-nazi fanbase
3. The mexican fanbase
Then root for your kind without trying to discredit other fighters, that's the problem, that's the difference between you, Americans, white and black ones, and the rest of the world. I mean, there's a LOT of fans who's more obsessed with thrashing Andre Ward or Golovkin instead of supporting their own fighters. Stop spending so much of your damn time making countless amount of threads about Ward or Golovkin being cowards, this place is full of haters who's doing NOTHING productive in the real life
You don't have to disrespect somebody to support your people, that's what you don't understand
Great post, absolutely nailed it.
But nobody complains when Mexicans root for Mexicans, Puerto Ricans root for Ricans, Filipino's root for Filipino's, and so on and so forth. But when whites root for whites and black root for blacks it's an issue?

If that can make a peace between you guys - we're the enemy for both of your sides, so seeing you bashing each other like that is something that amuses me. I have fun reading all that **** sometimes
Trust me all the robbery screams over the Golovkin/Jacobs decision wasn't necessary divided among racial lines. There were fans among every ethnic background screaming robbery after that decision and they weren't all just Daniel Jacob fans either. Many were White, Latino, Asian and Gennady Golovkin fans as well.
boxing fans backing Diaz? Makes more sense for boxing fans to back Holly Holm...
this is isn't rocket science. Highlights show a UFC fighter being KO'd choked out by the rules of its own sport. What do boxing fans care about that?
''I'm the face of boxing.'' - McGregor
but you call me a troll. you first must be an elite poster to acknowledge my troll powers. don't say it just because you'Re losing an argument. plus I'm gay and Conor visits my house!
Nate Diaz became a fan favorite off the win of McGregor, my reasoning for saying his fans are casual boxing fans is because boxing fans don't like the fact that McGregor said he is the face of boxing and that he would beat Floyd who is the face of boxing when active.
In retaliation, fans support Diaz and claim he beat Conor twice.
TMT has a lot of Hispanics supporters too. In Vegas people are unified via mix. Diaz has UFC fans in general, that comprises of the whole American lot that is mixed.
kinda ignorant to say that the UFC fans are american.
Diaz is a casual fan's fighter. The boxing fans who never watched boxing are the ones backing Diaz.
And my point with the whole TMT thing was mainly that even when you watch prediction videos from TMT gym, \ guys openly say " i usually go with the brother" if they don't really know a lot about the fight or the boxers.
is true. im almost done with this forum after saturday night. people making out it was a disgusting robbery just cause they hate golovkin so much. the racist agendas are too much for me now.
Same thing you did after Ward v kov. Why can you do it but then get mad when other people do the same?
And Nate Diaz is the St. Paty slapper or Irishcutioner?
And fans don't associate to skin color you idiot or else in theory boxing wouldn't even be popular. This isn't the 1930s son. However there's a high probability you're from the UK...
Not from the UK and Nate Diaz obv has fans who are also from a hispanic background.
The reason McGregor got popular was because of his nationality, similar to Pac and other fighters.
The skin color part I believe comes into play when the fighter is lesser known or if he is facing a member of the other race.
Is there a reason why most mayweather TMT shirts are worn by black guys and why most white dudes were rooting for Pac to beat him?
The is a great deal of racial agendas at play on NSB.
It is a Black / White / Mexican / Asian power-play for legitimacy.
Which I personally find hilarious.
Wrong, it's fools like you that are predictable.
Ya, I'm the one injecting race, not the fools who blindly claim Ward won, Jacobs won, Bradley won the first fight etc. Move along jack@ss.
Yet I had Pac winning, GGG winning and Ward winning. :lol1:
How are you going to make a predictable comment, after I call you predictable? :lol1:
This is too damn easy.

I remember when black people hated on crawford and were rooting for broner.
I remember when mexicans were happy after marquez iced pac and ruined his peak, he was never the same.
I remember when when mexicans and blacks hated on GGG , oh wait ...
This is a lie. 2 threads on nsb asking who won and it's extremely close in both. One has 52% of votes for ggg. The other is closer.
Right, lets quote the nsb threads which still had him winning and ignore every serious observer and media outlet, cause there's no bias around here LOLOL.
First of all, let's use periods where appropriate. It just reads like a long emotional rant. Secondly, I agree with the decision. It was a great fight and both fighters deserve a ton of credit for putting on an entertaining display. But I'm realistic enough to understand that the scoring system in boxing is flawed, subjective and can be interpreted in different ways by different people. That's what makes boxing different from your typical sport.
But with you, you made an assumption about me and it's adorable because your type is predictable. You wait to engage in race discussions to fuel your insecurities. It's actually kind of cute watching you guys try to incite back and forth race battles on the internet.
Wrong, it's fools like you that are predictable.
Ya, I'm the one injecting race, not the fools who blindly claim Ward won, Jacobs won, Bradley won the first fight etc. Move along jack@ss.
Last i looked Montero and Steve Kim weren't British and are massive Golovkin fans. The heavily biased HBO only had Golovkin winning by 1 point also. :dunce:
Keep going, what did the other media observers say? I think you'll see a trend that can't be ignored, which is that it was close but still a clear win for GGG.
You can't beat the champ by running/hugging and throwing less. It's pathetic that anyone would praise him just for going twelve when he's taller, heavier, faster and has longer reach. He fought to survive which is fine, but not good enough to win.
Boxing fans know that fights are scored by rounds. If they had Jacobs winning 7-5 then he wins 114-113. Not a robbery just a close fight, same as ward v kov.
If ggg had won clear his fans wouldn't be talking about race and nationality.
If you think ggg won, fine. I think he lost. Only those with an agenda make scoring about race, nationality or culture.
Go peddle your lies and poison elsewhere.
He out-landed Jacobs in 9 of 12 rounds, had a knockdown and had him in trouble. He threw more and landed more and at a higher rate, so no matter how you look at it the right man won.
How do you know this? Or are you just guessing because that's how you choose who you support and think everyone thinks like you?
I felt Danny Jacobs got robbed, but when I criticize a fighter I dont hate on them like the pro blacks on youtube, wehn they rant they make it racial and fire hatred at GGg, I on the other hand keep it boxing, I dont need to diss him since he doesnt talk chit and is humble so why? I just keep it boxing, but those ldbc pro blacks have a devil hate in their body, they attack and hate fighters personally and use the lame excuse because their fans.
I dont know how everyone things, do you know what the majority means?
hre is just a sample
