And stall on a rematch and act like his victory was clearly decisive while asking for an even bigger share of the pot?
Or is that just cool when americans do it?
Hard to win rounds backing up while constantly getting hit in the face as you pull your head back when your trainer tells you not to. Even harder to win rounds getting up off the canvas.
Not hard at all given the rules for scoring fights, which is something you know.
By winning more rounds. Example: if you win 5 rounds wide and get a knockdown and lose 7 rounds close you lose the fight 114-113.

How does a fighter who got knocked down, threw less and land less, at a lower connect percentage, win?

If you feel this way fine. I already addressed these points. These could all be present and you can still lose the fight. I had Jacobs winning 7-5.
you started this thread bringing up nationality as the reason so many think Jacobs won so I suspect deep down you know the deal.
Posters of all races and nationalities think Jacobs won. They base this on the fight and not cultural or racial identity.

Posts like what I'm about to say, are why dj lost.
Outthrew
Outhit
Landed at a lower connect %
Punches weren't as effective as GGGs.
Knocked down
What more do we need to see?

I thought Jacobs lost the fight . Obviously from the Pick 'em thread 98% of people on here thought Jacobs would get KO'd . I think the fact that he didn't and also had Some success boxing ( although I think GGG out jabbed him ) people are viewing it as a win . When the fight was over instead of Jacobs raising his arms to signal his confidence that he got the W ... He fell to his knees as if saying " I made it to the final bell " ?
Posts like these are how you know Jacobs won. Literally no discussion of what happened. Just chalks any score of the fight to race and nationality. Really pathetic.
But that is what it's come to for a lot of ggg fans-he's more symbol than boxer so no matter what he does it's seen through a cultural lens rather than a boxing lens.

"White looking foreigners" are only allowed to beat American boxers, especially ones of a darker persuasion, by virtue of one punch KO.
Sorry, I thought you knew this, it's just the lay of the land here on NSB, a prerequisite to any victory involving an American and a "white looking foreigner".

He didn't lose though. Outthrew, outlanded and had a higher connect percentage, with a knockdown.

Imo he did. Fights are won by who wins the most rounds. It is possible to have a knockdown and have more punches land and still lose. Real boxing fans know this. Guys like you know this as well but default to a casual fan scoring system as you always do when a guy you like is in a close fight that many think he lost.
I had Kov winning 114-113 and I had Jacobs winning same.
I think GGG should give him a rematch after Canelo fight. I think that is more likely than Ward giving Kovalev a rematch. There should definitely be some rehydration clause this time. Jacobs was massive
Can't really make the comparison to Ward but imho Golovkin will offer a rematch to Jacobs not because he's under any contractural obligation to do so. Golovkin will because he loves the sport and wants the competition. He'll give him a rematch, and give fans what they want to see. Both will have time to regroup and learn for the next show.
He should do what you said Ward should and admit defeat.

I love that Canelo picture. Also I think Golovkin has the balls to give Jacobs that rematch. I respect Ward for what he's accomplished but calling him a ***** in his situation would be an understatement.
