And Canelo without GGG = 550k PPV TOPS.
If Canelo wants to break one million buys, without being the B-side himself, he NEEDS GGG.
Hahah silly little limp-wristed bytch!
Canelo/Chavez will easily do more then 550k and might Crack 1m all WITHOUT GGG. GGG needs canelo more then the other way around and only an idiot would say otherwise.
Man we need it for the sport of boxing
This fight needs to do at least 250k so that we can get title holder gg vs lineal titlist Canelo
No we don’t, stop spouting crap.
Is he really? Less buzz for this fight if that's the case. Still tons of tickets left unsold and we are hours from the fight

And the 24/7 by HBO got terrible ratings. We will see but Tom talking like a man who knows this ppv will flop.

you just like doing fan fiction. you have zero information about purses, ppv buys, splits, etc...yet you made all that up lol and what a surprise you got the outcome that you wanted. a shocking turn.
whats with all the accounting?
I've been saying it since the beginning, it's too much money. People's response is always PPV money is gonna be ridiculous and they could afford it, but I don't think people open up their calculators and do the math. They also overestimate what Canelo-GGG will do in PPV. Canelo-Cotto was the far more popular PPV and it did 900k buys, Canelo-GGG will fall just short of that, maximum 600-750k.
So idk where GBP will get that money. I've been saying it since they first came up with that flat fee offer, if it's true, idk what K2/GGG are waiting for to at least accept to call their bluff if it's false, or just accept if it's true because that's too money to pass up. He won't make that much from getting a cut of the final PPV buys.
Only scenario I can think of is that GBP thinks Canelo will get so much money from sponsors, live gate and other TV deals from Mexico that they are okay with giving GGG a big chunk of the PPV revenue. An unrealistic chunk. Because $15mill would be the lion's share of 750k PPV (roughly 61-62% if PPV rev is $24,375,000

If he was offered 1 penny more then the deal that Chavez got which is guarantee 6m he needs to take it. Chavez making more then GGG and jacobs combined including the entire undercard. Everyone here said they were lying with their offer for Chavez for weeks when Chavez signed after he realized the offer wouldn't go up he admitted to making the same amount that was reported a month earlier. K2 refuses to come out and say the offer from golden boy isn't real. Until k2 says otherwise I am going by these numbers. Too many loud mouths from that side that have had no problems speaking out. They quiet because they know the offer is real and look like fools demanding more when GGG can't draw for shyt and has no plan B big fights. When GGG/Jacobs figures and canelo/Chavez figures come out that 15m offer might be coming down.
How many buys do you honestly think gg Jacobs does?

You alright mate? Youre gunna wear out those 1 and 5 keys if youre not careful
I'm not sure, but K2 really needs to call GBP out on their bluff. Just accept the $15mill offer. They should've been done that, because it's BS imo.
With that said, since K2 doesn't call their bluff and accept the possible bogus offer of $15mill, it leads me to question how badly they really want the fight.
GGG isn't going to see $15 mill if they insist on a cut of the PPV and it ends up being 60-40 or 65-35. Canelo is the one who will take $15 mill from PPV (probably $23-25mill in total with all source of income for the fight), GGG somewhere around $10 and $12-13mill in total.

I wonder how much team little golovkin has offered Canelo
How about that

dont you know? GBP is a 501C3 charitable organization, and their goal is to go around offering to overpay underprivileged fighters across the globe.
They are very disappointed that K2 hasnt accepted yet, because they were really looking forward to losing a bunch of money.

I'm not 100% on how promoters get all the money for fight purses, but $15mill just seems off. Seems like too much.
The counteroffer is to the contract that was sent. They sent the contract (just like Ward) and Loeffler sends a counter offer (unlike Ward where Loeffler didn't bother sending a counteroffer)
lol okaaaayyyyy. Whatever you say......... lol

Simple question. If there was no contract, why did Loeffler say he sent a counteroffer? According to you there is no offer. According to De La Hoya & Loeffler there is an offer. You're the one living in an alternate reality.
you seem to have trouble understanding that an offer and a contract are 2 different things.
Hint: Nobody bothers drafting an actual contract until all parties are in agreement as to the terms of the offer.
no. Thats a myth that some retarded pac-haters started a while back. Truth is its against the law for a promoter to take a percentage of a fighters purse (with the limited exception of promoters who lost a purse bid)
Revenue share deals are becoming more common, but the fighter is still at the mercy of the promoter as to an accurate accounting of the event revenue. Most fighters (in my experience) prefer to have a set purse that they can count on, and not have to worry about if the event made money or not.
Thanks bro I appreciate it
